Original artist here. Asked /u/aquaticdublol to take down his image after alterting my creative property. Refused. I've actually been contacted by other redditors offering legal aid in the matter if he continues to refuse to take down his work.
Here's a message I received:
What he did is certainly copyright infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 106 (2), as he created a derivative work without permission. You should definitely issue a DMCA takedown notice to the hosting site, if you need help with that just message me.
Enjoy the drama.

Uh isn't the piece in-question a fanart to begin with?
It is fanart, yes, but fanart does not fall under copyright infringement because it makes use of commonplace and preexisting elements.
Jesus, if you are that sensitive, don't post your shit online, especially to a critic sub. When you start resorting to DMCA notices because someone hurt your feelings, you need reevaluate your outlook on life and art.
Are you serious?
Yes
And here we have the prosecution, /u/JustOkCaiters, represented by reddit.
Oh my god, lets not bring the drama here too. Holy fuck are you being ridiculous. Go ahead and just try to take legal action against me or imgur.

Don't get too hasty there. I'm really looking forward to this thread now.
Yesssss, it's happening! The popcorn has landed!
She should call on /r/girlgamers on this thread too!
Godammit please no.
Your post was here before mine. Assumed I was allowed in as well.
In which I only said, "A friend suggested that I post to /r/drama because he thought the whole encounter was hilarious." Nothing confrontational.

Are you seriously going to bring legal action to him because your feelings were hurt?
Oh god, and now you're threatening copyright infringement?
My dramacock can only get so hard...
Not here please.
