u/TwasIWhoShotJR calls r/fatlogic out on not following the rules of their sidebar. Is told "And if you're coming here just to stir shit for SRD, you can feel free to leave." Time for some meta-popcorn, y'all! (np.reddit.com)

> I know /u/TwasIWhoShotJR[1] SRD [+6] is a celebrity around here, but please.
I don't think it's the people who actually know who he is doing the brigading. SRD regulars generally know better than to brigade.
> SRD regulars generally know better than to brigade.
So the sudden reversal in vote totals directly after the SRD are coming from somewhere else?
> regulars
As in people who regularly read and comment in SRD, as opposed to people who are just subscribed here.
Two kinds of people from SRD clicked on this link:
Ones who voted
Ones who didn't
Whether or not they're "regulars" or casual subscribers is irrelevant. They came from here. When any other sub is accused of brigading, they don't get to pass it off on the non-regulars. If they cam from SRD and voted, that's bad. Whether or not they are "regulars" is beside the point.
Did you even read the thread before replying? I'm pointing out that the people who are most likely to know who /u/twasiwhoshotjr are SRD regulars, and SRD regulars generally know better than to vote brigade, so the brigading is unlikely to be from people rushing to be Le JR Defener as /u/ShameHider suggested. Ok? Ok.
The reason I brought up JR is the fact that the title post brings the user up. And people don't have to comment to vote, or hold sympathies for one of our own regulars.
>and SRD regulars generally know better than to vote brigade
Sure they know they aren't supposed to. But my dog knows it's not supposed to bark at squirrels but good luck trying to stop him.
>so the brigading is unlikely to be from people rushing to be Le JR Defener.
Pure conjecture based off of nothing whatsoever. SRDer's whether they're as regular as you or or whatever group of SRDers you're describing are voting on a linked thread, and it's blatantly obvious.
I'm going to assume the next time /r/mensrights or whoever /r/tia gets called out for brigading, you'll be there defending them saying only the filthy casuals would do such a thing? Or are we special somehow? Like, SRD regulars are really and truly above voting on linked threads.
Again, it doesn't matter if it's regulars or non-regulars. It's coming from here. Plain and simple. Defend it. Make excuses. Downplay SRDs brigading any way you like. But the votes don't lie.
I'm just a filthy casual, but the point sagan was making is regulars know they will be shadowbanned for voting in linked threads.
I know that's his point. My point is that knowing that rule exists doesn't mean they don't break it. My other point is what fucking difference does it make if the voters are regulars or not, if the votes are still coming from here? Fuck it, I give up. It was the non-regulars, therefor we should totally ignore the fact that it's happening at all...
That's a whole different arguement though... We obviously have a brigading problem here. What would you suggest we do to curb it.
But it isn't a problem. It wasn't the regulars. We know better. Nothing to see here!

This argument has given me mild vertigo and sleepiness. One should not operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery after reading it.

It's ok, you don't need to write me a rambling wall of text. You can just admit that you fucked up by not reading the whole thread before replying, and we can be buds or whatever.
W/e, bro. You think that the "regulars" are above voting on threads. I don't think that, and I don't think it matters if it's regulars or non-regulars. You keep going on about me not reading, like you are trying to make some other point.
> I don't think it matters if it's regulars or non-regulars.
Ok, then it's a good thing we weren't talking about whether or not it matters until you barged your way in.
No true SRD men would brigade
yep just ask /u/davidreiss666 =D
