As a British Achievement Hunter fan I was looking forward to this lets play.
It feels like they're alienating anyone who isn't an American fan.
If the USA team were in the final they would have done a proper FIFA lets play, but they're not so they've made a video mocking everyone who is a football(soccer) fan

They sucked because they played a laggy game mode and with players they had just created which had zero skill level.
The rage quit of FIFA that Michael and Gavin did wasn't terrible. They were alright at it.

Actually that's not true, a lot of people at Roosterteeth are fans of the World Cup(including Gavin, Geoff, and Jack who are all in AH). It's the fact that the game isn't to their liking that's the problem
In one of the recent vids Jack was getting live game updates via his XBONE so to say they don't care for the sport is wrong.
America went mental for the game it seemed when they were still in it. All the tim Howard posts etc.
As soon as they went out, it just stopped. If they were in the final it would be hyped up more than the Super Bowl I reckon
That still wont make people who don't care for the sport watch it. The idiots who suddenly were super fans of the sport would have watched it. But if the US made it to the final all the other people still would have not watched it. And that includes most of Achievement Hunter.
Americans go on about how the Super Bowl is the greatest sporting celebration in the world it seems. Yet obviously it is just Americans interested.

American Football vs Football have nothing to do with it. Its just a joke for a hot topic that the guys thought would be funny. Of course they aren't going to play a game they don't enjoy playing just because its relevant for a week. You didn't see them play NHL for the Stanley Cup final, Or NBA.
And as far as the US going mental for the World Cup when we were still in it. They most viewers on game had was only 19 million in the US. Which puts it only the 5th most viewed game this year.
I don't know specifically but aren't the Hockey and Basketball finals every year?
The World Cup is only once every 4 years. There's a lot more hype around it
Yea but they still do a Super Bowl video every year. Because that is a sport they actually enjoy. That was my point. But good job avoiding that fact all together.
But I would not say they are terribly good at playing Madden either.
I don't think it is a case of them not taking things seriously but more so they are just really bad at footie video games. The only one that was not terrible was that arcadey sega one they did for versus and even that was not with out problems.
