So the mod removed a Ronald Reagan quote solely because it was a Ronald Reagan quote?
The fact SRS removes dissenting opinions solely on the basis of the fact they're dissenting should not come as a surprise to you.
in fairness, reagan is literally the leftist equivalent of the devil.
in a forum where we don't allow dissenting opinions, yeah its to be expected. thats kinda the point of srsd. if someone sat in my living room saying stuff like that, i would likely laugh at them and ask them politely to stop.
edit: yahoo answers also thinks that reagan is literally the devil incarnate. Clearly their opinions are always correct.

. . . So it's not actually a place to have (valid) discussions. Not that that wasn't already obvious, but it's odd to see an SRSer openly admitting to the irony of a place with "discussion" in the title being nothing but a glorified circlejerk.
They've definitely got a problem with silencing dissenting opinions. It's understandable that they don't want the place to be overrun with MRAs and redpillers and racists and whatnot, but they really go too far a lot of the time, such as in this instance.

I have a serious question. You seem to be a strident believer in social justice. You and the rest of SRS seem to want and promote the ideals of feminism and socialism. So, would you like to live in a progressive world in which your ideals are the foundation of society and law? If so, why do you act so deliberately churlish and do seemingly everything in your power to alienate and distance people who would otherwise stand with you? Why make your believe system intentionally unappealing?
The fall back argument is that prime is a "circle jerk" and disco is for "serious" discussion. But here, right now, we have a mod of discussion acting as childishly as possible. It's not like you're in men's rights. Most of us agree with you, but we simply don't understand or like the tactic of being as unpleasant as possible for...well it isn't really clear why the social justice subs act in the manner they do.

It's not like Reagan basically committed treason or anything, he only wanted to sell those missiles to Iran to help America's allies in south America! Also he was a hell of an actor.
