I dislike women who "like" sports and comment about it every five minutes in social situations when they lack a grasp of the fundamentals of the game. Kind of like how some girls probably hate other girls who kiss girls for attention at parties.

Women only do things for attention from men. Fact. They don't like things except when liking things allows them to get attention from men. The other day, I met this real hot piece of ace. Total 7/10. We were talking chatting up because I'm alpha and chat is what I do with the females. Turns out she's into the same things I am: MLP, League of Legends, fantasy literature, sports ball and sports stick, monster truck, fixing motors in cars, etc. Then it hits me. She's only pretending so she can have relations on my body.

That was me actually. As a woman and die hard hockey fan, I've lived it. Some of the quizzes guys come up with are bizarre. Most recent "how many goals do the Blues have to score to get a discount the next day at Papa John's?" (Three BTW, I'm also a pizza fan.)

Yeah most of the time it's super annoying no matter what your fandom is. While I've never run into it personally, I did get the "Wow most girls dont' even know the difference between starting, relief, and closing pitchers" once. Neither me or my other Cards fan lady friend were amused.
Does it matter if they know the difference though? What if they just want to learn? Is it really that much of a cardinal sin for someone to want to learn something about something that they may or may not already know about?
Unrelated: I'm from KC but spent most of my adult life in Columbia, MO so I met a lot of Blues fans and started watching hockey with them. I guess I've been a blues "fan" (hockey is not my favorite sport, although I do very much enjoy it) for about 4 years now.
And I only JUST realized about a month that they were named for the genre of music and not just the color like the Reds or the Browns.
The Browns are named after Paul Brown. Seriously, do you even like sports? Are you just doing this for attention?

Because there was one obnoxiously loud girl screaming and throwing up devil horns or whatever. Based on my experience, Girls who behave like this tend to do so at the most inopportune times like: QB throws the ball away on 3rd down to avoid a sack/int or a meaningless strikeout in the 4th inning.
And your point? They're enjoying the game, just like a bunch of guys watching who do the exact same thing.
