Making other children eat food that you don't make your own children eat is wrong.

If other schools were as well funded as to where the President's children attend, the nutrition in schools would not be an issue.

The issue is so much more complex than you implied here.

Actually if you look at "school funding" the problem isn't allocation it's administration.

Sounds like you need to do some research on your own to clear up your obvious ignorance on the matter.

Source?

So schools who lack the budget to pursue healthy lunches are victims of mismanaged school boards? Furthermore, if a proper administration ran a surplus you think those funds would be allocated towards creating healthier meals for children?

In the District of Columbia for 2011 per pupil spending was nearly $19,000:

So the president should be forced to send his kids to public school, or refrain from any education related legislation?

He can do as he pleases but it's clear he doesn't put his money where his mouth is.

He can't force a private school to change its menu options, and he can't get his daughters as good of an education at a public school. There are plenty of other instances of Obama's hypocrisy, but I do not think this is one of them.

Having his children eating this:

>Chilled Cantaloupe & Fresh Mint Soup Sidwell Chop Salad Jicama, Mango and Cabbage Slaw All Natural Chicken Curry Indian Curry and Lentils Steamed Broccoli Basmati Rice Sliced Watermelon

While trying to shovel nasty food on public school kids is hypocrisy.

That was the lunch menu for Thursday.

I have to disagree. Regardless of nutritional value, private schools will often have better food than public schools.

$19,000 per student buys a lot of rutabagas.
