Whatever gods inspired you to do this, thank you. Unbehalf of ser poppy, the holy dramaticus, the order of the tetradramton clerics and the 9 kernels. Thank you for your service.
Meanwhile /r/TumblrInAction seems to be high up lol. I have been vindicated. Just a bunch of angry Redditors wanking about SJW and "feelz before realz".
Lol for a bunch of wankers that claim feminists use "feelz before realz" TIA sure does have some testy motherfuckers. Downvote my post history. Wouldn't change the facts^TM
Perhaps so, but I can't help but notice that TiA is near the top of almost every single subredditanalysis drilldown. Maybe that sub just has an insane amount of visitors? I haven't posted there before before because it's not really my cup of tea, though if there's not enough sj drama on srd for you then I guess that's a way to fill the void.
Typically my bot grabs a sample of 1500-2500 users. With TiA it grabbed 5602 users, so yeah, I'm inclined to agree.
Do you have this on github?
No, I put the code in the subreddit wiki.
It's definitely one of the larger meta subs out there. TIA is comparable to Cringe in terms of traffic. For reference, TBP, Mensrights, and SRD are all smaller than either subs in terms of traffic. For those wondering, neither SRS nor SRSsucks, nor TRP allow regular folks to view their traffic stats. As far as I know though, the largest meta sub in terms of traffic would be /r/cringepics, coming out with about twice the traffic of TIA and Cringe.
The magic of TiA is that it attracts people on multiple sides of the culture war, who come to be entertained by the same material, often for different reasons.
TiA is the opposite side of the same coin SRS is on. Another boogeyman. OH IT'S JUST A CESSPOOL FULL OF REDPILLERS AND RACISTS.

Yeah, TIA is like an extension of TRP. /s

145 overlaps with TIA.
TiA shows up high in a lot of the drilldowns. I've concluded that they have a very diverse userbase. It just so happens that part of that diversity is what you described.
That's true. But I'm making judgements based on the front page and the survey that was carried out earlier.
A sub that is mainly white males between 16 - 24 complaining about "social justice" . Also the frontpage is 100 percent anti-feminist/ "tumblr white man hate" topics so its not a stretch that it's just a reaction towards any form of perceived social justice movement that does not focus on Reddit's core demo.
And before anyone claims they make fun of TRP and racists, You'll have to use the search function to dig up posts.
Actually I think they're complaining about "social justice warriors" rather than social justice. There's definitely going to be some complaining about social justice and helping minorities in general, but I don't think that's how the majority feels there. According to their own surveys an overwhelming majority is in favor of LGBT rights and socialized medicine. They don't support Affirmative Action though, so I'll give you that.
You're right about there being significantly less Red Pill stuff than Feminism stuff, but if you do search for it then the first three results will be this +1548|-406, this +403|-105, and this +315|-72. When it is posted, it gets highly upvoted. Even makes the front page. The mods don't ban it and the votes seem to support it being posted. Maybe post more Red Pill content?
As a former subscribers to tia, I'll tell you that they find trp and rok posts to be so vile and distasteful rather than humorously stupid that they don't like posting many such links
Honestly I like the South African method of demographic quotas better than AA.
I'm not familiar with that system. Got any links?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackEconomicEmpowerment
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affirmativeaction#Post-apartheidEmployment_Equity
To summerize it, SA takes demographic surveys and after companies gain so many employees (I think it's 30), They have to meet demographic quotas.
So lets say if your company had about 100 members in somewhere where the demographics were 82.1% black, 9.5% White 5.4% coloured, 2.1% indian and the rest other races, You'd roughly have to fit with those demographics when hiring.
I love that system honestly, It allows for potentially everyone to be hired equally while at the same time doesn't really seem like it's AA at all.
There are complaints and stuff, but it works.
Interesting, thanks.
> And before anyone claims they make fun of TRP and racists, You'll have to use the search function to dig up posts.
1) There aren't many submissions that link to TRP on a subreddit dedicated to primarily making fun of tumblr and not Reddit? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
2) There's no links to racism? I found racism on the front page.
http://www.reddit.com/r/TumblrInAction/comments/26jp2e/wehavea_fan/
Racial slur used in the linked image.
EDIT: Anyone ever notice that discussions about TiA always end up showing why TiA exists?
> Racial slur used in the linked image.
"Cracker"? Really? That's the hill you've picked to die on?
First they called me a cracker, and nobody spoke for me.
... because I'm so damn white that it's just funny as hell.
Brb, eating mayo and listening to Vampire Weekend.
User claims that TIA is full of reactionary white dudes that never (or basically never) make fun of racists, and you disprove him by linking to someone that said "cracker". Wow, you sure showed him!
EDIT: Literally SRS
Cracker is a racial slur, bro. Have you ever been called a cracker? I've been called a cracker before.
It was night time. I was shopping at whole foods, browsing the organic kale and my favorite Regina Spector song was playing on my Zune, so, naturally I was feeling pretty good. Until it happened, the moment that has made me hate black people ever since.
A man - a black man - came up to me. He looked me right in the eyes, his face full of hate. "What are you doing here, cracker?" I began to shake in my vibram five fingers. I didn't know what to say. I just kind of stuttered. I felt years of the oppression of white men, all the oppression my grandfathers felt, wash over me. I realized then that I was the other, and always would be. Eventually, I was able asked him what he said.
"I said, can you pass me the crackers? The rosemary and thyme ones. Yes. Those will go with the Feta my wife and I got in Athens!"
But I knew. I knew what he said. I knew I was just another white guy to him. He probably never thought I was going to shop lift some almonds in the pocket of my North Face jacket. How dare he. How dare he.
After that happened I had to go out to my prius and just cry. It haunts me to this day. Even after all the great strides white men have made: ability to vote without owning land, and, uh, other things. Even with all that, we will never truly be free.
I'm not even white. Look at my skin. I'm pink, God Damnit.
So, no, don't tell me it doesn't hurt. And don't tell me that white people are more racist than black people. That's just not true. It's not. White men are 100x more oppressed. That's life. So don't you try and tell me that being called a cracker isn't as bad as being called a ^^n-word.
Edit to say: look at the crime stats. White men are always convicted and never do anything wrong. Statistics aren't racist, friends. America is racist.
Between this and College Humor's basic bitch video, I feel like I have to get a whole new wardrobe/personality. It's too much.
Will I ever be a...bad bitch?
> It was night time. I was shopping at whole foods, browsing the organic kale and my favorite Regina Spector song was playing in my Zune, so, naturally I was feeling pretty good.
Oh god. I feel so white right now. Get it off! Get it off!
You know the Regina Spector song I'm talking about. The one you renamed on your computer so your friends don't know it's there. Where she plays the piano like an angel plays the piano. And you listen to it late at night, just as the spring is turning into summer, and you've been drinking and you weep. The whole of your pathetic life slaps you across the face and you wonder, really wonder, how someone could love someone so flawed and terrible. And you're just so glad someone does.
They built a statue of us // they built a statue of us
Why can't the world just be that beautiful?
I'll tell you why. Black people.
You're providing a bloody public service.
10/10, would hold hands abd weep to Regina Spector with you (though I'd prefer Samson).
Solid copypasta. A+.
>He probably never thought I was going to shop lift some almonds in the pocket of my North Face jacket.
Would be white again.
Oh dear, are you talking about the same sub that allows the posting of "non-tumblr" links?
A sub that has 5 of the top 10 posts not from tumblr? Tell me more about this exceptional rule.
2) LMFAO. OF course. You just proved my point. The only racism is against white guys. I dare you to pull up a post that is made against minorities on TIA, the bastion of logic and equality. Don't worry, I'll wait.
> I dare you to pull up a post that is made against minorities on TIA, the bastion of logic and equality.
You mean like this one? This tumblr post was made against transmen.
That one was on the front page also
unless you mean something else, then I might be wrong.
EDIT:There's this one against trans* people also.
I was talking about racial minorities. I should have been clearer. And now watch the TIA downvote my posting history hilariously.
I don't think tia would focus on people racist against minorities that much because they make fun of sjws and I don't think there are any sjws that go against minorities.
At least I think it's what they do.
That's my point. IT's just white guys pointing and laughing along side actual racist, sexists and nigots about how stupid SJW's are.
EDIT: Quite a typo... O_O
That's an unfortunate typo.
Here's the recent survey results for their subreddit.
Look at it how you will.
I dunno about the actual racists part, in my experience I don't think I ever saw any racists comments. To my surprise I actually saw more messages from the mods asking to report racists than I saw actual racists. But then again I only subbed to chuckle at other-kin every now-and-then.
To each their own bias I guess.

TiA has never claimed to be a bastion of logic and intelligence. The only thing users have in common is laughing at bigotry in the name of equality. One of the top posts today was of a teenager "excommunicating" people with gender dysphoria off the trans community. On the past days, the focus has been on the sexism based on the recent killings in UCSB.
We occasionally have posts about neo-nationalists and racists in general but those are just sad since it's just bigotry.
But if you're not even open to changing your mind, I won't bother on following this conversation.
>The only thing users have in common is laughing at bigotry in the name of equality.
But then the bigotry is only that which affects white guys isn't it?
Go to TIA and say something about having a racial privilege. You will be laughed at because if there is one thing Redditors hate, is admitting that there is something called white privilege or male privilege.
TIA is a place for Redditors to decieve themselves and think "laughing at SJW" is equality. They laugh at SJW. Know who does that also? RAcists, TRPer, MRA extremists and just about any "anti" group that feels that SJW are boogey men.
So don't tell me any bullshit about being open minded when that sub is the most close minded and religiously deceitful "lulz" sub out there.
> Go to TIA and say something about having a racial privilege. You will be laughed at because if there is one thing Redditors hate, is admitting that there is something called white privilege or male privilege.
As a minor counterexample:
> Is it just me, or is this not that bad? I mean, it's not the best analogy, but they acknowledge that privilege is not deterministic of your individual future, it just makes certain things easier on a societal level (i.e. being less likely to be stopped and frisked, generally speaking being more hire-able, etc.). I don't know, I didn't hate it.
+79, in response to "Straight White Male: The Lowest Difficulty Setting"
As a major counter to your example.
Here is someone that was gilded, best of'ed and had TIA members brigade the bestof thread claiming intersectionality and shared experiences among minorities does not exist and that by suggesting that, we are causing racial stereotypes of lies and suffering
Yeah, I guess. I don't really want to start a huge fight, because I mostly agree with you, but I also don't think that comment is super hateful or anything.
You summarize it as "claiming intersectionality and shared experiences among minorities does not exist", but it reads to me like the poster is making a case for the primacy of individual identity over group identity. Which, sure, is a luxury that members of the majority group enjoy that is often denied to minorities. But I think they're right that treating people as individuals should be the ideal, even if it's not possible today in our racist, sexist reality.
So, naive? Sure. Hate speech? Nah.
>But then the bigotry is only that which affects white guys isn't it?
I literally presented an example of bigotry towards trans people.
>Go to TIA and say something about having a racial privilege. You will be laughed at because if there is one thing Redditors hate, is admitting that there is something called white privilege or male privilege.
Someone already replied to you about the white privilege part. About the male privilege, many users (not all) express the idea that all genders have privileges and disadvantages and that doesn't mean that because one has it worse, the others have to be ignored. But of course, that doesn't fit the narrative you're bringing.
>TIA is a place for Redditors to decieve themselves and think "laughing at SJW" is equality. They laugh at SJW. Know who does that also? RAcists, TRPer, MRA extremists and just about any "anti" group that feels that SJW are boogey men.
I'm sure that racists, TRPers, MRA extremists also brush their teeth. Just because we do something in common doesn't mean we are the same thing. I do have to recognize there are extremists on the subreddit, but that's what happens when you have an open forum.
>So don't tell me any bullshit about being open minded when that sub is the most close minded and religiously deceitful "lulz" sub out there.
You don't seem to be open to changing your mind. Not that I expect to change it, especially in this subreddit which has lately changed its focus from laughing at the drama to criticising it ala original SRS.
> I dare you to pull up a post that is made against minorities on TIA, the bastion of logic and equality. Don't worry, I'll wait.
Well, here's an actual white supremacist/real nazi
But generally I agree, TiA is pretty reactionary, and anyone posting "DAE feminists r terrible!" will garner beaucoup upvotes.
> anyone posting "DAE feminists r terrible!" will garner beaucoup upvotes.
Trigger Warning: French that shit.
I believe TBP also has a lot of users that are on TiA too, so that isn't really saying much.
TRP isn't that high on TiA's, however
http://np.reddit.com/r/SubredditAnalysis/comments/266z9q/rtumblrinactiondrilldownmay_2014/
/r/MensRights, however, clocks in at #10.
Only 1.16% of active TiAers are TRPers and only 3% of active TRPers are TiAers.
It was a good attempt, suspiciously-SRS-leaning-alt-account :\^).
I must be the only meta regular who doesn't frequent TiA, cringe, cringepics, or any of the other popular ones that keep popping up on these drill downs.
Seeing as how many TRPers are in there, and are actually not being satirical, I think I'll pass.
> Meanwhile /r/TumblrInAction seems to be high up lol. I have been vindicated. Just a bunch of angry Redditors wanking about SJW and "feelz before realz".
They've gotten a lot worse than that. You only have to look at the mod list and the other subs those people moderate to understand why.
[deleted]
I'm obviously not Kamen. Although the mods banned me once on that assumption.
AMR has a very strong overlap with SRD.
What does that say about SRD, AMR, or by extension, TiA?
I'll give you a hint: whatever your answer is, it MUST be the same for all three subs.
>Downvote my post history. Wouldn't change the factsTM
Except that your so called facts are demonstrably wrong. You are just like the most redditors out there: you love throwing a fit whenever you are proven wrong. Grow up.
