Some people just can't understand long term math. And what's with some people's obsession with including a monitor with the price of a PC?
If that's the case, they should include the price of a TV for PS4
Except nearly everybody already has a TV in their home, regardless if they game or not. And odds are if you don't already have a desktop PC than you don't have a PC monitor.
You are clearly ignorant. You can use a PC monitor for your console. You can use a normal TV for PCs.
You defeated your own argument by saying everyone has a TV. That means everyone already has something to connect their PC to.
Although to be fair, most TVs don't have more than a 48hz refresh rate, so using one for gaming would be less than optimal.
That affect consoles too, but I admit most TVs have shit refresh rates
I agree with what you're saying but you don't have to be so superior about it.
"stop being right!"
He never said he was superior. Don't feel inferior, he was just informing you.
Hey man don't get me wrong I'm a PC gamer, I just don't think we need to be insulting.
It doesn't matter if you're a PC gamer, just don't look for reason to feel inferior. It's bad for you. If someone is ignorant, it doesn't help to pretend that they're right.
Mind explaining? (Okay, that did come out as a bit douchey, but I really do want to know why you think I'm acting superior). The only thing I can come up with is the use of the word "ignorant".
That's pretty much it, you had a douchey tone. I mean you're always gonna come off a bit like that in an argument like this but you still could've said "If everyone has a TV then everyone has a monitor" and been a little less confrontational. I guess it's not that big a deal.
Yea, sorry. I'm kind of debating right now with 2 other people, so I'm in full debate mode
You have nothing to apologize for. You didn't come off douchey.
>You are clearly ignorant. You can use a PC monitor for your console. You can use a normal TV for PCs.
I know, but few people do and in many cases it's not exactly practical to have a PC hooked up to the TV.
Practicality doesn't mean it isn't possible. Plus you get a free HTPC out of it.
If your average person isn't going to do it, and it's kind of a hassle to do it, why even bother bringing it up? The majority of people PC gaming will want a monitor; it's included in the cost. How is this even debatable?
Wait, hassle? Are you fucking kidding me? Connecting an HDMI cable is a hassle?
Yea, plugging in an HDMI Wire is a big hassle. Thats why I had the best buy come over an install my PS3 for me for $150 bucks.
Uhhhhhh...
You obviously haven't done this before, and if you think it's too much of a hassle, you're just being lazy, man.
My setup works fine and I really enjoy it.
