Yeah, you see a lot of terms like SRS, redpillers, and "euphoric" being used on 4chan. They never acknowledge it but it's pretty funny and interesting.

Freedom of speech is meant to prevent suppression of information from a central authority. It stems from the enlightenment era focus on human rationality. Persons were central to any discussion of rights. From Locke, a person is “a thinking intelligent being, that has reason and reflection, and can consider itself as itself, the same thinking thing, in different times and places.” Suppression of words would inhibit rationality and prevent people from learning the truth onlyin an environment of thinking intelligent beings. Without that environment, freedom of speech loses it's usefulness in a society and it's grounding as a human right.
/pol/ can't have freedom of speech because it they are missing that underlying premise, they aren't thinking or intelligent.

I went onto the official /britpol/ IRC channel to see what it was like. There were people talking about how they were members of national action (fascist organization), and how they'd have weekly sessions to train their members in MMA to 'defend themselves', how they think their organization would have a problem with them killing someone, but they aren't against it personally (no context to the discussion), how they'd 'put down' a gay person that was defending themselves being gay, et cetera.
