Hey! OP again... It's sad that I've to do this again but I guess you guys are slow learners!
1) I'm honored that /u/southafricafuntimes made a post about me after 25 days of inactivity. Let's all pretend that he isn't just an alt account of /u/TimetoDrink, shall we?
2) As you will see in the first post linked, I never said I had any issues with push up bra. I dare anyone to quote me saying anything negative about push bra. It's the third time I get linked to a drama subreddit that blatantly use a false title. This is kind of pathetic, even for you.
3) Every fact and statement I've made were supported by an explanation, logic, and were respectful of the socratic method. I can't say the same from people who have argued with me. So if you are here to make one of those useless and unoriginal comment that have been made a hundred times already, go away. If you have something intelligent to say though, I'm open minded and willing to debate, because that's what I love to do (as you could probably see).
Thanks and have a nice day.
Bro, nobody here cares about your opinions about pushup bras. They do find your righteous indignation pretty goddamn hilarious though. You don't start none, won't be none.
How many times will I have to repeat myself before your small brain understand that I have no opinions about pushup bras, just an opinion about people and the reasons why they wear padded bras? You can be flat chested and wear padded bra for all I care if that's what make you comfortable. But if your intent is to make your boobs appear bigger, you are being dishonest.
Now, I don't care if you care or not about my opinion, just don't misquote me, it makes you look retarded.
>How many times will I have to repeat myself before your small brain understand that I have no opinions about pushup bras, just an opinion about people and the reasons why they wear padded bras? This is an opinion about pushup bras, btw.
>Now, I don't care if you care or not about my opinion, just don't misquote me, it makes you look retarded.
Right, because I'm the one who looks retarded here.
>This is an opinion about pushup bras, btw.
Hmm no? Seriously moron, you do realize padded bras aren't the only way you can make your boobs appear bigger? My opinion is therefore not specific to the pushup bras and can't be about them. Of course you couldn't understand that, you have the brain capacity of a retarded fish.
>Right, because I'm the one who looks retarded here.
So glad you finally understand that!
>Hmm no? Seriously moron, you do realize padded bras aren't the only way you can make your boobs appear bigger? My opinion is therefore not specific to the pushup bras and can't be about them. Of course you couldn't understand that, you have the brain capacity of a retarded fish.
Haha. Alright man, guess we're doing this all over again. How on earth is "an opinion about people and the reasons why they wear padded bras" not "an opinion about padded bras." I mean come on, relate that to any other "opinion about people and the reasons why they [use some object]," ultimately it's an opinion about [that object].
>So glad you finally understand that!
lol
>Haha. Alright man, guess we're doing this all over again. How on earth is "an opinion about people and the reasons why they wear padded bras" not "an opinion about padded bras."
Once again, you are misquoting me. Should be: "an opinion about the people and how they try to make their boobs appear bigger voluntarily". See, no padded bras. Just because padded bras was the vector that brought the discussion about my opinion doesn't mean my opinion is about it.
>Once again, you are misquoting me.
You literally said that you have "an opinion about people and the reasons why they wear padded bras." It's right here in this comment and I quoted it for posterity in this comment. That's a direct quote.
> I dare anyone to quote me saying anything negative about push bra.
It's going to be a useless endeavor, but I'll bite (know that I'm already hating myself for it).
Your original comment that started this whole shitstorm (my emphasis added):
>Wow. You are really stupid if you can't understand that people aren't mad at her for having small boobs, but mad at her for LYING. If I'm not attracted to women with small boobs, I should be allowed to know if you have small boobs so I can decide whether or not I want to have sex with you. I can't believe I have to explain this to you, are you 5?
Now, did you explicitly mention push-up bras? No. However, your disdain for people who embellish their breast size is delivered with the subtlety of a plane crash. If this heel you are dying on is the fact you never mentioned push-up bras, you win. But read your comment. Now read it again. Now tell me how is it we are incorrect for saying you think:
Is this the longest drama-chain ever?
I came from here, clicked my way through two other meta subs, came back to SRD and the got to the original drama (I feel like someone will have to draw a diagram soon). And now you're arguing with him...does it ever stop?
> now you're arguing with him...does it ever stop?
Oh lordy Lord Jesus I hope it never does.
Dramaception
^^^sorrysorrysorry
We can argue about boobs and bras forever ^forever ^^ever ^^^ever
What's so strange about this is that all of his incredibly moronic bitching about padded bras and boob size comes as a reply to a sarcastic joke - 'HOW DARE YOU HAVE SMALL BOOBS'.
That's 3 days of drama because he didn't understand a joke.
o lord
The only problem in your reasoning is that you're confusing what I claim to be the reason why srand25 is a liar. I'm not saying srand25 (the original poster who talked about padded bras) is lying because she is wearing padded bras, I'm saying she implied that she was wearing padded bras, in order to make her boobs look bigger, so she is being dishonest and a liar.
Now, I admit my choice of word was poorly chosen, but I've corrected it and explained myself in the first few replies I made on every dramas subreddit, so there is really no reason why people should keep misquoting me.
That said, good job on coming up with one of the few intelligent replies I've had... If only everyone could comment like you, this thing wouldn't have ended up like that.
I hate to get involved and stir up more trouble, but I'm a slave to curiosity, and I really don't understand how you see a difference there. Tell me if I've summarized your position correctly:
You don't have a problem with padded bras, as long as the person who wears them doesn't intend that the bra fulfill the purpose for which it was designed.
Kind of. One of the most recurring argument people made is that most women wear padded bras because it's more comfortable or that makes their clothes look better. It's all good, I've nothing against them.
And, while this thing exploded and became way bigger than it should have been, I don't think women who wear padded bras to make their boobs look bigger are evil and should be crucified, I just think we have to admit that they are voluntarily being dishonest, which we all are in our own way...
>Every fact and statement I've made were supported by an explanation, logic, and were respectful of the socratic method.
I want this sentence to become the next "euphoric". It's so neckbeard-y.
Aristotle died for this shit!
Looking at that long chain of posts, I knew you would show up here. I was not disappointed.
You said someone who liked push up bras because they were flat chested was basically lying to you. I'm a semi flat chested woman. I like push up bras because without them if I'm wearing more than one layer, I look like I've got nothing going on up there. it's not to deceive you, it's to make myself feel better. No one is trying to lie to you.
I don't have the patience to wade through what looks like hours of comments, but based on the original post it seems his logic is that the product is okay if utilized by women with large chests. Otherwise it amounts to "false advertising". Since this is clearly a case of extreme shallowness, don't try to justify your decision as to choice of undergarments. Deception or not, what you wear is based on your reasoning and doesn't need to be defended on the internet. Keep on propping the girls up, especially if it raises your self-esteem.
Few things are sexier than a clearly confident woman.
>I don't have the patience to wade through what looks like hours of comments, but based on the original post it seems his logic is that the product is okay if utilized by women with large chests.
What? You couldn't be more wrong. But good job on making false assumptions about me like everyone else.
Here, I will make it very simple (even for someone like you) to understand my opinion):
-You can be flat chested and wear padded bras. It's all good.
-You can have gigantic boobs and wear padded bras. It's all good.
-You can have average boobs and wear padded bras. It's all good.
-If you respect any of those conditions (basically, if you are a human being who wears padded bra), BUT the reason why you wear padded bra is to make your boobs appear bigger, you are being dishonest with the people around you.
You might as well just quote the rest of my reasoning since it's a logical fact pattern.
Your issue is intent, we get that. However, you can't discern intent. Yet you voice anger by inferring their intent was to deceive. Since you already stated you have no problem with the bra itself (despite it's blatant purpose of accentuating the breasts), we are left with the conclusion you are disappointed with the smaller breasts themselves. Only they could be "falsely advertising" since a large breasted woman, by virtue of having large breasts to begin with, wasn't deceptive.
Since you seem to believe you are smarter than everyone disagreeing with you, I'm sure you can see the only logical conclusion to your line of reasoning.
>You might as well just quote the rest of my reasoning since it's a logical fact pattern.
The rest of your reasoning was based on your wrong assumptions that I've proven false, I don't see why I should quote it since it is now useless.
>Your issue is intent, we get that. However, you can't discern intent.
Never said I could, except of course in those rare cases like the one that started this whole debate, where OP declared her intent.
>Yet you voice anger by inferring their intent was to deceive.
"Their"? I never mentionned anyone but the original OP (srand25), and people who would think like her. Obviously I can't know who "the other people" are, but that doesn't mean we can't discuss hypothetical scenario, does it?
>Since you already stated you have no problem with the bra itself (despite it's blatant purpose of accentuating the breasts), we are left with the conclusion you are disappointed with the smaller breasts themselves. Only they could be "falsely advertising" since a large breasted woman, by virtue of having large breasts to being with, wasn't deceptive.
I will quote this so you don't say I didn't quote your whole reasoning again, but since it's based on false assumptions that I've just proven wrong again, it's also wrong.
>Since you seem to believe you are smarter than everyone disagreeing with you, I'm sure you can see the only logical conclusion to your line of reasoning.
I seem to be smarter than everyone disagreeing with me yet. People (you included) have yet to come up with something that prove me wrong, but I keep an open mind.
> The rest of your reasoning was based on your wrong assumptions that I've proven false
The rest of my reasoning amounted to "Otherwise it amounts to 'false advertising'". Hence why I pointed it out. Nor did you ever identify the assumptions I made or why they were false. You simply generically stated they existed and moved on.
> Never said I could, except of course in those rare cases like the one that started this whole debate, where OP declared her intent.
This is blatantly false. It may have started in reference to that girl specifically, but your subsequent comments make it clear that the issue of intent extends to all girls. You claim no problem with push-up bras if the intent is not to deceive, ignoring the purpose of the bra. This is a point I made above that you conveniently chose to ignore.
> I will quote this so you don't say I didn't quote your whole reasoning again, but since it's based on false assumptions that I've just proven wrong again, it's also wrong.
What was my assumption you proved wrong? You simply repeat yourself. Please, since you love these quotes so much, highlight an incorrect assumption I made and where you "disproved" it. You are adding absolutely nothing new to these conversations and repeating a point that has been logically rebutted by both myself and others.
> People (you included) have yet to come up with something that prove me wrong, but I keep an open mind.
I did in my previous post. Follow the logic. You claim false assumptions but identify none. You claim no proof to the contrary but ignore that which is lighting up your inbox. Simply saying there were false assumptions (without identifying them) and then claiming a valid rebuttal (where none exists) doesn't work my friend.
LIAR LIAR BRA ON FIRE! D:<
>You said someone who liked push up bras because they were flat chested was basically lying to you.
Once again, you are misquoting me, I never said that.
I said that if you wear push-up bras in order to make your boobs look bigger, you're doing something wrong (although, not even close to severely wrong, you're just being dishonest...).
You can be flat chested and wear pushbra in a ethically correct way, it's all about intent which was my point the whole time.
I would appreciate if you could at least try to understand my opinion before misquoting me and getting the pitchforks out.
Newsflash: women often don't wear bras for your pleasure. They wear them to make themselves feel better.
Besides, if you decide not to have sex with someone because they "falsely advertised their boobs"... well you probably aren't worth having sex with anyway.
>Newsflash: women often don't wear bras for your pleasure.
I never claimed otherwise. You are part of the people who so blatantly misquote me and don't even make an effort to understand the very simple conversation you're having. It's way easier to get offended at someone than try to understand his point, right?
>They wear them to make themselves feel better.
And it's all okay, until the "feel better" imply being voluntarily dishonest with people. If it makes me feel better to steal your money, is it okay for me to do it? Note that I've put voluntarily in bold, it's all about intent, which is the argument I've been making since the beginning.
>Besides, if you decide not to have sex with someone because they "falsely advertised their boobs"... well you probably aren't worth having sex with anyway.
Those are 2 completely unrelated statement. Would be like saying "If you drive a red car, you aren't worth having sex with anyway". Do you not realize how dumb you appear?
Ah yes wearing a push up bra is dishonest the same way stealing is illegal. Do you realize how entitled you sound? Do I ask men if I can see their dick before fucking I mean what if the shoved something down their pants?! I can't have that.
>Ah yes wearing a push up bra is dishonest the same way stealing is illegal.
I never claimed that they were illegal in the same way you moron. Just because 2 scenarios aren't exactly the same doesn't mean they don't have similarities worth discussing.
>Do you realize how entitled you sound?
Not as much as how retarded you sound, that's for sure.
>Do I ask men if I can see their dick before fucking I mean what if the shoved something down their pants?!
Ah there it is, one of the most unoriginal questions I've been asked and answered at least a dozen times now. Why am I not surprised it came from you... Here is one of the dozen answers I've given: http://np.reddit.com/r/blackpeoplegifs/comments/23ogwq/mrwigetthegirlstopoffandrealizeitwas_a/cgzgdhv
jesus fucking christ dude, you have some issues
one of which is taking yourself way too goddamn seriously. good day.
> ethically correct way
LOL, I was unaware of the ethics of underwear. What other ethical issues surround undergarments?
>You can be flat chested and wear pushbra in a ethically correct way, it's all about intent which was my point the whole time.
"correct way"
Glad we found the underwear police to set us all straight.
I used to wear minimizer bras often. Guess I'm a liar too, but an ethical liar since it's still obvious I'm big chested?
Seriously, this is the most ridiculous shit ever. It's essentially "Oh no, I might accidentally have sex with someone with the wrong boob size."
Edit: Line breaks
> You are really stupid if you can't understand that people aren't mad at her for having small boobs, but mad at her for LYING.
so people are mad at her for lying. thats like the very first thing you said.
But I never claimed that she was lying because she was wearing padded bras, I claimed that she was lying because she implied that SHE was using padded bra in order to make her boobs look bigger.
Once again, I've absolutely nothing against padded bras, it's all about the wearer's intent.
> respectful of the socratic method.
Internet arguments are srs bsnss.
I always love when people say shit like "have a nice day" as if you havent spent hours of your time arguing about the same petty shit across different threads. fucking loser.
hey how are you?
