I had a conversation just two days ago with a feminist on SRD who swore that no feminist could possible care about the word female. But whatever, thanks to reddit, I've learned that feminists will never abide by the they seek to impose on others and they think I'm a misogynist for assuming anything else is true.

Where did they say that? Maybe I'm looking at the wrong comment, but if this is the one you're talking about it doesn't seem to say what you think it does. In fact, it's quite the opposite.
>It's important to remember that no member of any group or belief system is representative of that belief system as a whole. There are Christians who believe that science and faith have no conflict and those who believe the opposite. Neither is violating their Christianity by saying so; there is a variation of ideas and nuance among and between members of groups.
They're saying not all feminists share the same exact beliefs (in this case, on the use of the terms "male" and "female").

What? I called a feminist out of their usage of the word female and they got really defensive. I was told that I was "looking at extremists." guess those extremists are people like /u/Saganomics who gets upvoted to +52 on SRD for complaining about the word female.

Yeah, tell that to the feminists (again, I was told I was "looking at extremists") who regularly complain about the usage of the word female. Tell them they don't represent feminism.
>Tell them they don't represent feminism.
It's not that they don't represent feminism. It's that not all feminists agree on every topic. I don't know what the statistics are on the issue of referring to people using more clinical terms like "male" and "female" - not sure if that's considered a radical/extreme belief or not.
Edit: I'm still curious where this happened:

Someone on SRD said I was only looking at extremists, while discussing the word female, and got to +8 for that. Today Saganomics is at +55 complaining about the word female. Should I conclude that SRD is comprised mostly of extremist feminists?
Someone did say that feminists disagree among themselves on certain issues. But I can figure out for myself how most feminists feel about the word female.
