In /r/atheism, OP's submission is a picture of a crucifix he hung on his front door that he fashioned out of his wife's dildo. When a user suggests this might not be respectful, OP's wife shows up to defend it. (np.reddit.com)

This is why no one likes Reddit's atheists.
Not all Atheists are like them. I'm an Atheist myself and I don't act like a religious hating child with a superiority complex. I'm sure there's many sensible Atheists here too.
Absolutely. Believe it or not /r/atheism wasn't always that bad. It started getting this way about three years ago, maybe four-- and it snowballed into what it is today.
I had hoped that after the change in moderation and its being removed as a default sub things would get better over there but it seems that /r/atheism still attracts the most juvenile kinds of atheists. It's sad, really, but oh well.
When I first discovered reddit I use to post in /r/atheism, and for the most part I didn't really see the circle-jerky bit. Then one time I made a comment to some people about respecting and tolerating others' rights to practice their own religions and someone came back with basically "No religion should be tolerated ever."
Last comment I made on that subreddit. I'm not interested in eradicating religion from the world. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. I just want people to tolerate each other.
That would be nice.
I am an atheist myself, no need for explanation
Don't pretend to be someone you aren't.
what does that even mean
>what does that even mean
That you are pretending to be an atheist when you in fact you aren't.
Do you not understand English?
Perfectly, thanks
I am not pretending shit, bro
I am an atheist, why would I lie?
>I am an atheist, why would I lie?
Because of your post, which leads me to suggest that you aren't an atheist, but an anti-atheist pretending to be atheist.
ain't nobody got time for that, dude
go bother someone else
Who are you to say who is or isn't ann atheist?
A person? I'm not sure what you're getting at.
/u/flirtydodo says they're an atheist, on what basis can you refute their claim?
There's a special club of people on reddit who believe that any person who claims to be an atheist and criticizes that shit sub is a false flag and is actually Christian.
You aren't really an atheist if you write nonsense like "nobody likes atheists".
>on what basis can you refute their claim?
From his first comment.
