Biased title. Hear me out:
You know and I know that the joke was racist. However, the drama in this instance is specifically about whether or not the joke was racist. By coming out and saying the joke was racist up front, you've chosen a side and biased your submission.
What? That was an objectively-racist joke. There is no possible way that it was not racist. My title is fact, not opinion.
Did you read what I said? Even if the joke was objectively racist, the argument is whether or not the joke is racist. You pick a side by stating the fact since the fact is what's being fought over.
...but there's no argument in the linked thread over whether it's racist or not. They all implicitly agree it's a racist joke. They're arguing over whether you should be offended or just laugh it off.
Dude people post shit on here to vent about racism and sexism. It's not about sitting back and laughing at drama anymore. It's SRS lite.

Dude, I don't think you understand. SRD is SRS lite, TiA lite, SRSS lite, and TRP lite by that logic. What one thinks of SRD says more about one's own point of view than it does about SRD.

Sorry to be rude, but I don't get this at all. Don't like the post? Don't click it. Don't like the sub? Unsubscribe. Don't like a certain type of drama? Don't click those threads.
Plus, there's a handy little "hide" option for threads you're not interested in to help with clutter on a sub's front page. It's a very nice feature. You should try it out if you haven't already.
If that's not enough for you and you think this sub has gone to shit, take it up with the mods. Tell the others who have complained to take it up with the mods. They're the ones who control the rules so they're gonna be your best bet here if you want change.

That's because no one likes TRP except TRPers. Hopefully there will never be a pro-TRP post here (but hey, feel free to take that side if you really want to - you won't get banned like you would in SRS). The same way there will hopefully never be a pro-racism or pro-sexism post here. Most people feel TRP is inherently bad so we jerk against it. We still get some opposing opinions from time to time. Same with racism, sexism, homophobia... Hell, the same could be said for the conspiracy nuts and libertarian drama even. The posts seem to always go the same way (we jerk against them). It doesn't seem like you have a problem with those though.
There's also a lot of people who think this place is MRA-lite.
