I'm confused as to why there would be any debate on this issue. Some men are stronger than some women, some women are stronger than some men. End of discussion.
I think the issue is the fact that many men on Reddit do not think that some women could ever be strong than any man.
For example see below:
It's pretty unusual for a woman to be stronger than a man. I'm pretty sure that you could take a random untrained man off the street and they would probably be able to lift more weight than a resonably fit woman.
I guarantee I can quickly find 5 women to outmatch five random redditors.
Strong, muscular women are not some myth anymore. Redditors might scream like TRPers when they see one but they're still there
They aren't a myth but they are pretty unusual and an average man and average woman have a difference in physical strength.
This doesn't make women inferior to men but it does make them less strong on average.
There shouldn't be a debate here, it's pretty well documented.

I've actually never seen a claim of that.
I've seen it a few times in the defaults, but it could easily have been trolls. I think almost everyone agrees that on average, men are stronger than women, but there are some extremely physically fit women out there as well.

So you could quickly round up 5 women who would be able to, for example, deadlift more than 5 random men? I kind of doubt that unless you know some dedicated women.
I'm not in particularly good shape, I can still lift much more weight than women I know who train very hard.
