What exactly is the point of AMR as a sub?
Like, does AMR aggressively ban anyone who goes there and tries to disagree with them, the way every SRS subreddit does?
It is to /r/MensRights what /r/TheBluePill is to /r/TheRedPill, or /r/conspiratard to /r/conspiracy - a sub to make fun of the crazy shit that gets posted there.
So no actual rational thought or argument, then.
Guess that clears that up.
lol, I guess you're an MRA.
>rational thought or argument
>>lol, I guess you're an MRA.
You paint a beautiful portrait of your own beliefs, here.
Sorry I used your triggerwords.
I just think it's funny that you think a sub whose sole purpose is to mock and ridicule another sub needs "arguments". Does /r/conspiratard need "arguments" to make fun of the batshit lunacy on /r/conspiracy? Does /r/tumblrinaction need "arguments" against the ridiculousness of tumblr in order to mock them? No, some things are so ridiculous that mockery is an acceptable response.
>No, some things are so ridiculous that mockery is an acceptable response.
Mockery is an acceptable response when you actually have an
' " ' argument ' " '
to back it up.
Without that, what you actually have is an embarrassing display of your own unexamined biases and ill-considered positions.
People who need "a sub whose sole purpose is to mock and ridicule another sub", particularly if the latter sub allows people to disagree with them right there in their own sub, strike me as probably the sort of people who don't have that
' " '
argument
' " '
The best "argument" against /r/mensrights is to simply read the sub. They make a better case against themselves than anyone else could. That's literally all /r/againstmensrights does - they simply quote what MRAs say verbatim and mock and ridicule them.
> The best "argument" against /r/mensrights
The best argument against you is that you don't know to stop using scarequotes when you're actually using the word.
lol
^ See that? That was me laughing at you, instead of arguing with you. Cause that's all you deserve. That, on a larger scale, is what /r/againstmensrights does.
Bye now.

Did you... did you just put airquotes on airquotes?

You asked what the subreddit was and someone answered by comparing it with other subs whose purpose is to laugh at people with dumb opinions. You then dismissed it based on a dumb reason (what argument were you hoping for? you asked the point of the subreddit). It is therefore a reasonable inference to conclude that you are an MRA. He wasn't reacting to you showing a "rational thought or argument", but for your self-serving dismissal of the subreddit.
It's basically there to quote things MRAs say and laugh at them.

Appears to be a sub for /u/Aerik to call for backup when arguments don't go their way.
AMR is essentially SRS-lite, except they're only half as ban-happy. I'd estimate at least 75% of the content linked on that sub is material planted by their alt accounts so they have something to circlejerk over.

lol
Wow, two comments in a row with that 75% estimate. You must be really proud of it.
