I was called a rapist for not giving a girl a cigarette. (self.MensRights)

Thought I'd share a little anecdote. Far too often I hear that women 'just don't joke about rape', and that 'rape culture' is fueled only by men. I've had a few run-ins with issues like this, but this one was just so ridiculous I have to share it.

I work a mobile route for a security company. I basically go and check locks, alarms, etc. at night. My brother was at a party and had a lot to drink and needed a ride so he called me. I figured since it was on my route I'd sacrifice my break to help him out.

I arrived at the street and see two women (maybe mid 20s) walking to a car parked outside and staggering a bit. I keep driving (the street leads into a sort of circular parking lot dead end), I keep driving so I can make a u turn and park alongside the house the party that was at. One of the girls (I'll call her T) starts nearly running away (come to find out later they thought I was a cop at first glance, this street has no lighting at all). I thought it was weird but made my u turn, parked alongside the house, and texted my brother that I was outside.

I decided I'd have a smoke while I'd wait. I grab a cig and open my door to get out and the second girl (I'll call her S) come up and bashes the door in my face in such a way that the top of the door smashes the bridge of my nose. She starts screaming "Why the FUCK are you honking at us?!" I had not honked my horn at all, and I didn't hear ANY other vehicles honking. I said "What the fuck?! You need to chill out! I didn't honk at all!" she starts getting ridiculously aggressive and belligerent right off the bat. She says "Are you <name of the town> police?! What the fuck are you doing here?" I said "Listen again, chill...OUT! I'm just a security guard, I'm picking up my brother (brother's name) on my break". So then S starts to back off, and T gets sassy and goes "Well, you at least owe us a smoke". I laughed a bit and said "Are you for real?! You and your friend here bash my nose with a door and start shouting at me and I owe YOU? You're goddamn insane!"

So I start to light up and she's just standing there and says "Are you fucking serious? You need to give me a smoke" and now S is also shouting "Give her a fucking smoke!" I just said "Why?"
S replies "For trying to rape us!" I said "Okay, I'm done with this. Please take off, I'm waiting for (brother's name)" S shouted it louder so people at the house would hear "YOU TRIED TO RAPE US!" I just turned my back to them. They keep nagging about the cigarette and I said "Look, This is insane you owe me an apology, if you apologize and go away I'll give you a smoke". S apologizes.

So I unlock my door to get the box out and before I even have my hand on the door handle T comes up and slaps the cigarette from my mouth, picks it up off the ground and puts it in her mouth!!

At this point I was losing my cool and I said "You bitches are nuts, please get out of here. This is straight up foolishness."

Finally my brother comes out and is like "What's going on here?" they shouted "He tried to rape us! He said he was going to rape both of us!" I shook my head at the absurdity of them trying to pit my OWN BROTHER against me. My brother was like "Nah..." and started laughing. They kept with the story and said "He said he was (name of town) PD and that he was going to rape us!" Of course my brother wasn't buying it. They then S kept saying to me "I hope you get raped one day!" to me. I got into my car and then S shouted to my brother "He'll rape you too! Fucking rapist!" and T started saying the line from Deliverance about I deserved to be raped and "squeal like a pig".

Seriously, it was just 'rape this, rape that'. It was ridiculous.

We used to have chest cams in the past when we worked college housing (which is the worst of humanity. It's like the actions of inner-city culture mixed with the attitude that comes with having lots of money). It saved our asses SO many times for this exact reason.

Maybe I will do an AMA one day. A lot of the stories are kind of comical because a few assumed the device was an audio-only microphone and would say things like "DON'T TOUCH ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!" while they're just standing there. It got to where it was mandatory that we had a least one female guard at that post (out of four) because it was too risky to subdue female belligerents ourselves, even if the belligerent was brandishing weapons or destroying property..

Holy shit. It's incredible how quickly women have used sexual assault as a weapon against any man they are pissed off with.

> It's incredible how quickly women have used sexual assault as a weapon against any man they are pissed off with.

Nah, it's just like bigots did to the blacks before and during the rise of the civil rights movement. Screaming "rape" for manipulation is second nature to hateful trash. Saving young vulnerable white girls from the evil black rapist animals was a prime call to action for the KKK. Remove the color, you've got "rape culture". The sad thing is, if I hear someone screaming, "HELP! HE'S RAPING ME!", I don't investigate anymore. I've heard it too many times, came running, and found she's just crying wolf, even laughing about the attention and trouble she's caused. It's disgusting.

It's like how no one hears a car alarm going off and thinks, "Oh man, someone's stealing a car", instead we think, "What a prick, turn off the annoying alarm already," even if there's a person standing there next to it. Even if they're trying to break in with a coat-hanger we just think, "Oh, yeah, it sucks to lock your keys in the car, good luck." The person breaking in goes, "Oh you know how it is dealing with these loud obnoxious things. How embarrassing, sorry."

Who hasn't seen a guy getting screamed at from a distance by a girl who's swinging her purse at him? No one thinks, "Oh man I hope she's not fighting off a rapist." I think, "Oh man, sucks to be him; Women, sheesh." Women think, "Yes! You go girl." It would be a real shame if someone was getting seriously hurt but we can't really tell anymore, and chances are it's just some argument taking place in public.

That's basically the same thing that's happening with screaming out "rape" due to the "rape culture" hysteria, some are just quicker to drop the white (hooded) knight BS than others.

Well, maybe that's not exactly what I'm trying to say. But it IS telling that the very worst altercations I've dealt with have been in college housing, and that's in comparison to working Section 8 housing. The ghettos may be poor, but the rich kids will bring in gangs (like MS-13) to come in and bring (drug related) service since they have money and connections and then act like they're entitled to it, and then literally call you a Nazi and a Fascist (no joke, this has happened) when you try to bust it up. This is going a little off-topic, but it's the reality of it.

I met literally the worst people I've ever known when I was working security at a college in an area known for gang-related crime near L.A. It was exactly how you said: rich kids let their gangbanger, drug dealer friends into housing to "party", and that's why there's trouble every goddamn weekend. Shootings, drug overdoses, etc., and me with just my trusty flashlight.

I've been called every name in the book and threatened just for doing my job, but looking back I was lucky I was never physically attacked or shot. I left that job for a better one as quickly as I could.

It's unfortunate you had a run in with lowlife scum like that. The worst part is you could have easily gotten bashed up had they had other people there with them. Mob violence certainly isn't unheard of in situations like that.

The statement that women don't just joke about rape is untrue, of course. People (including women) do joke about rape, and if fucking anything was going to be an example of "rape culture" it would be these stupid women trivializing rape by making these false accusations.

That's one of the things that pisses me off about feminists claims of 2% false reports. It does not count these incidences. Rapes and attempted rapes sure as hell are counted even if they aren't reported. That is a point I am starting to bring up in discussions of "rape culture."

One of the men's studies programs needs to do study of false rape reports, similar to that one recently released on sexual assault. Let's find out about men's lived experiences with false rape reports, It will be as eye opening as the sexual assault study, I am sure.

There are big lies propagated by feminists through rape culture theory. Women do make false rape accusations, clearly they're willing to do so at the drop of a hat. This is because again, against the feminist doctrine, they are well aware of how much damage an accusation can deal. They wield it like a child with a rock

You're very lucky no one else unrelated to you or them was there to take a "helpless li'l lady's" word at face value

Alcohol enhances the hidden feelings and moods of people, which is why Bruce Wayne doesn't drink so he won't reveal his alter-ego.

The alcohol in these girls revealed how manipulative they are to men and how they feel they have a pussy pass. God bless alcohol for showing the true nature, and Heaven help the poor young men who get drunk with these girls.

That's "rape culture". An American women's invention to try to manipulate men: Women can become victims whenever they want.

Of course not all women do this. It takes a whore to use so easily the word "rape" to try to put herself above you. Because the status of "victim" is very powerful: It "gives" her the support and sympathy of the whole society while you become the "perverted criminal". Even when they use it for a given moment and then it vanishes: It doesn't matter; they feel powerful in that moment.

"Rape culture" is "the victim culture".

And with that, American women are being dismissive to actual victims. They are shamelessly stealing the pain and desperation of real victims. It's hard to imagine something more evil than this.

Original scenario

nice guy: Coming to pick up his brother.

crazy girls: Oh shit, is that a cop? Nope its a nice guy!

crazy girls: Gimme a smoke and I will assault you while asking. Ha ha, I can just call the cops and say you tried to rape me.

nice guy: Wait thats not right! Wha wha what? I am so confused.

crazy girls: Fuck you rapist, gimme smokes! Ha ha, I called him a rapist and this nice guy will not be able to do a fucking thing to me and I can call the cops and have them beat him up and put him in a cage!

My version:

questionable guy: Coming to pick up his brother.

crazy girls: Oh shit, is that a cop? Nope its a nice guy!

crazy girls: Gimme a smoke and I will assault you while asking. Ha ha, I can just call the cops and say you tried to rape me.

questionable guy: I might be the type who will abduct you right fucking now and kill you.

crazy girls: Oh fuck me, I really fucked up. I need to get the fuck out of here. He will not patiently wait for me to call the cops. I need to get the hell out of here now!

Just felt it was an interesting anecdote to shine light on the whole "women don't joke about rape" thing. It's true that drunk people do dumb shit all the time, however it's a pretty big theme that for women intoxication doesn't warrant liability for actions, but for men it almost always does. If you didn't like it, that's fine, the internet is pretty fucking huge.

There is enough bullshit with men's rights with teenies whining over juvenile crap that we don't need /r/offmychest here. If we keep doing that were no better.

This is really an off my chest rant more than a men's right thing.

Guys shouldn't be bitching about stupid shit like this. That's what makes us "better". Men are typically not petty and don't fret the small things, which this is, like women do.

You make some good points man, but it's already out there. Men are already pretty disconnected because we're too busy chasing pussy and have a distorted view of how to obtain it (subsmission to women's whims, ass-kissing, and so on), so I see this as more of a 'heads up' kinda thing to say "Yeah, this shit actually happens". Brotherhood is generally guys watching out for eachother, whereas sisterhood is generally stabbing eachother in the back and talking shit about one another. There are exceptions to the rule, but I'm just sayin. I'm going to upvote you just because I think you should be heard.

Get the fuck off this sub.

I never said rape would be my goal. Sorry.

However, people may not find the body to be able to confirm whether or not rape took place.

If anything, attitudes like mine are what are going to prevent (or at least make them think twice) women from making false rape allegations. Because, currently, there is not enough fear of repercussion.

No.

You're fucking disgusting. And you can spout all the Internet Tough Guy drivel you want, but 10 to 1 you're a fat little fuck who wouldn't be able to rape or kill anyone anyway.

That, and neither rape nor murder are funny or appropriate topics for light banter or tough-guy posturing. Rape is never permissible, and killing only appropriate in self-defense.

Go back to masturbating to snuff films and keep your perversion away from here. I can't speak for everyone, but I refuse to be associated with a piece of shit like you.

I'm a married former Marine, thank you. I've seen enough of my brother's have their careers and reputations ruined by false rape allegations. There's a reason my attitude towards it may be a little... extreme.

Sometimes justice is left to the individual.

Oh, so now I'm a rape apologist? Fantastic.

I don't think double jeopardy applies.
