Considering that the "40%" they accepted answers like "they said they would dump me if I didnt" as a sign of a force unwanted experience I just have to laugh.

If we considered pressuring a woman into sex to be rape I think we'd see rape stats in the upper quintuple.

Jeez : MRAS How is that what I said? If a guy agrees to have sex at 17 with another 17 year old due to social pressure it's not rape, it's not forced sex or sexual assault

REALLY you guys would be agreeing that a woman who had consensual sex with her boyfriend was raped if the guy said he'd dump her?

Many people do include that kind of thing in current rape stats. Coercive rape is very much an accepted concept to a lot of people.

So if a boyfriend says if you don't have sex with me I'm dumping you and then she agrees it's rape?

Because that is what well over 50% of the "rapes" they're claiming happened to men are.

I didn't say I agree, just that some people believe to that.

Literally no one on reddit outside of SRS would claim that to be rape of women. Especially those on mensrights.

Now you can downvote and scream misandry all you want but you aren't fooling anyone

It may not be violent, aggravated rape, but it's still really bad.

So all men who break up with women who aren't having sex with them enough are now sex offenders?

Maybe I misunderstood.

I'm referring to a case where someone explicitly tells someone "If you don't have sex with me, I'm going to break up with you"

If you're unhappy, you have every right to leave, but in this hypothetical case, for lack of a better term, it is a threat.

Maybe you do misunderstand because according to this survey of 40% of boys claiming they were raped would see that barely 1 of 5 that said they were forced said they were in anyway physically forced. That is 1 of 5 out of the 40%. The rest of the 4 of 5 were people claiming they were not ready when they agreed to have sex or felt they would be dumped if they didnt.

And no, in this case it isn't a threat.

You do not get to consent to sex and then say I wasn't ready emotionally while claiming it was forced

No it isn't. Being told have sex with me or we aren't a couple isn't really bad. It doesn't make you a great person to have a relationship but doesn't make you a rapist. No where ever on the history of reddit has a man been told he's being really bad for breaking up with someone who isn't having sex with him

Sex is a crucial part to any relationship and I understand that I've hurt reddits male victim complex but stop it.

All I'm saying is that using some sort of threat to get sex is not cool.

It's totally different if you go through and explain. "Look, I'm not really happy with the current situation"

Know what I mean?

No. I do not know what you mean at all. Claiming you aren't happy with a relationship doesn't make that relationship rape and I would love to know how you managed to make the mods censor my comment that said it's not rape to ask for sex.

You are super defensive about all of this. I didn't say "feminists" believe that. I just said that some people do.

The underage boys are basically asking for it.

What is wrong with you?

well there is no "patriarchy" so males are not pressured to fit a strict gender role of wanting sex, so clearly they did want sex...../s

You know there could be strict gender roles without referring to the patriarchy to explain them, right?

Most sensible comment in the thread is at -10. Mensrights must be here.

Mensrights where all rape is false rape if its against a woman but where it's rape when a man says he wasn't ready?
