Her name is Jane Marie. She's hotter than a lot of females.

People on this subreddit are too dumb to understand that dick doesn't = man.

Having a penis and a scrotum is indicative of having a y chromosome, which, by definition, makes someone a male.

Biologically male, yes. In all other regards a woman.

Some people consider themselves biologically human, but animals in all other regards. Or biologically adult, but infants in all other regards. I just don't get why people are quick to accept transgender people as their desired sex, while flurries are generally considered freaks.

Gender is what you're talking about. Sex = chromosome configuration (ie. XY/XYY/XX/XXY). Gender is what you call yourself.

Well in my dictionary the second definition of gender is sex.

And what is the primary definition?

If you are not accepting of one particular sexually related orientation or personal gender identification than you are still exhibiting bigotry. I don't consider any sexuality or gender identity as making someone a "freak". Their personal feelings have no effect on me and if someone wants I identify as a woman it doesn't make a difference to my life or anyone else's but their own.

I do, however consider the debilitating or impairing aspects of certain sexual and gender feelings. Being a transsexual still allows you to live a regular, fulfilling life (stigma aside) and allows you to have sex with consenting adults still. Same thing with furries so I have no problem with it. Others, however, like the real belief that one is still an infant or animal or certain sexual orientations like zoophilia and pedophilia can significantly impair ones ability to have a healthy and happy life and also limits the ability to have sex with consenting adults. Being an infant or dog, it would be hard to hold a job. These things would likely cause significant life stress and unhappiness. So when it comes to things that are quite debilitating I consider them on the more disordered side and in potentially in need of treatment.

Import though is that no one is "weird" or "freaky", people are only different from myself and/or disordered and in need of treatment. Mental health is as important as physiological health and shouldn't be stigmatized

So...the one regard that is considered the main regard for most...is the one regard we disregard regarding the individuals who it would be most useful to use regarding them?

"Gender identity" is a joke, dude. Legally, that person would be recognized as a dude.

That's not true in many cases, and it's irrelevant to a discussion on identity anyway.

Job application, passport, license/ID card, firearm registration... He'd be a man on all of those.

Not true about job application and many State IDs. The rest are the territory of federal law, which is really not a great model to look at considering federal stances on other issues like this.

If you want to be slow to embrace the changing standards of how western society thinks of gender, that's absolutely your right and I won't look down on you for it. But you will be on the wrong side of history.

Absolutely true. If I put that I'm a woman, then I'm lying which is legal grounds for termination in the future if the true came up. Post op, he could put that he's a chick since he would be, but he is a he until then.

Also, I don't care what people do, who they sleep with, or anything like that as long as it doesn't directly affect me. I just can't seeing people blatantly misusing simple nouns. By definition, the person in the picture is a dude. It's really that simple.

No. Is the WHO?

http://www.who.int/gender/whatisgender/en/

Is the American Psychological Association?

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-how-and-why-sex-differences/201110/sex-difference-vs-gender-difference-oh-im-so-confused

If you did a bit of reading, you would realize that the sex/gender distinction is widely accepted and has been around since long before the new social justice movement.

I'll go with the World Health Organization's opinion, as well as the opinion of any number of other expert bodies, over the opinion of some person on the internet, thank you very much.

Gender is regularly used as a synonym for sex in medical literature. And do resources that mistake gender for gender roles ever have any value? Especially when they also make factually untrue claims? No, of course not.

"Yea?" Surely you mean "yeah," right? Because you wouldn't do something as impossibly juvenile as focusing on a typo in an internet post to attack someone else, while making a similar typo in your own post, right?

That would just be TOO much to handle.
