Why are men's dating preferences questioned so much more than women's? (self.AskMen)

Okay excuse me for the generalizations. But I often feel that as a guy my choices people often find it okay to ridicule.
For example my girlfriend is (22), people automatically assume that it's because it's a "predatory nature." But no one questions my girlfriend for her attraction to an older guy.
Or whenever I have dated Asian women people will say I am "fetishizing Asians."
But if a person criticizes a white girl for dating a black guy, they are instantly labeled racist.
Same thing when it comes to "a guy not wanting to date a slut" - Saying that is a terrible crime. But women will often joke about how creepy virgin guys are. (perfectly acceptable)
Or women saying "real men like curves." Ever heard a dove commercial talking about how good plus size men look?
I know it's kind of a rant but how do you guys feel about this?
I don't know if I am feeling this more because I am a man and you know confirmation bias. Or do you guys have similar experiences.
