19yo man finds 15yo girl-child attractive. Lynching at high noon.
That's like a high school senior wanting to date a freshman. That shit just ain't right!
He's the thing. Those years matter. For example the 19 year old is heavily imply that he's just enjoying making a new friend. Meanwhile everyone that is older than him realizes it is entirely about fucking the 15 year old. There is the same disparity in wisdom between the dumb 19 year old and dumber 15 years old...
>Moral of the story; it didn't matter that she was four years younger than me and a minor. My mindset had to change, yes, but once it did, I realized how much fun it is to simply get to know new people.
What implication? He came out and said just that.
>Meanwhile everyone that is older than him realizes it is entirely about fucking the 15 year old.
From the thread, its clear one person thinks that way, but the rest obviously don't, and why should they? Without knowing anything about this person, why should the default belief be that he is being dishonest and is trying to sleep with her?
From his post, this doesn't even seem to be a reoccurring thing.
He's not being dishonest he just doesn't get it. Well maybe his is being dishonest with himself.
> I decided to enjoy getting to make a new friend as well as spend quality time with a bro that I missed. Moral of the story; it didn't matter that she was four years younger than me and a minor. My mindset had to change, yes, but once it did, I realized how much fun it is to simply get to know new people. I still can't believe she was 15. Fuck [fuck, because insert-user-name wants to fuck the 15 year old].
Please edit your post. You don't get to add your own text to a quote.
You do if you use square brackets, that is the literary convention. I even used bold to make it more clear. I will change the I to insert-user-name?
You are adding commentary that he was clearly not the intent of his words. He used the word "fuck" as an exclamation, such as wow, damn, holy shit, etc.
Not, ""fuck" by this I mean for you to jump to conclusions and put words in my mouth."
I realize this, and then i inserted, within the appropriate brackets by convention, additional explanation text
Square brackets – also called crotchets or simply brackets (US) – are mainly used to insert explanatory material or to mark where a passage was omitted from an original material by someone other than the original author, or to mark modifications in quotations.[7]
I've said 'Fuck' that exact same way in my life. Two women I met at work. Beautiful, same hobbies, ^^married... FUCK!
Look, the guy knows its wrong, didn't act on it, and it doesn't sound likely that they'll meet up that often, if ever again. But hey, lets assume the worst and that its impossible for one to exercise good judgment. That bastard! Who's got the pitchforks?
My pitchfork hasn't been brought out, the only thing I've accused the guy of is maybe being dishonest with himself about his motives.
Judging by this dudes comment history he already has a gf, and is in 2nd year of college so maybe hanging out with a 15 year old he wants to bang isn't the best idea... which lets face it he is kind of looking for validation that its okay.
>I realized how much fun it is to simply get to know new people.
Except the moral was to get over things like that and just have a good time meeting people. You're assuming a ton of stuff to make the guy seem like a creep.
>so maybe hanging out with a 15 year old he wants to bang isn't the best idea
This being the biggest assumption. It was an unplanned meeting and nothing, NOTHING, in his post even suggests that he has been in contact with this girl or set up any kind of further outing. He met a good looking girl, was shocked to hear her age, and then decided 'Fuck it' (the whole point of that sub) let's not dwell on that and just have a good time with my buddy and the rest of the group. In the end, you might even be right, but considering that's all we know your conclusions are erroneous.
Pretending he's a (statutory) rapist just waiting to pounce on his victim isn't fair to him, at all.
So if he just met someone, he didn't intent on meeting, and hung out with them with a friend, why is there a fuck it? He doesn't need to say fuck it, he just acted like a normal human being. He really doesn't need to post about this incredibly benign interaction. What was his alternative, flee because a minor was present?
Which is why I think the Fuck it, mean the age thing isn't relevant, he very much wants to bang this chick, and he is indirectly seeking validation on the internet, thus the post
There's a 'fuck it' because of people like you assuming he just wants to get in her pants despite her age and the lack of supporting evidence. He decided 'fuck those people, I'm going to hang out with this person anyway'.
It's a 'Fuck It' because we're supposed to be wrapped up in sexuality and dating, especially at that age. It's blasted at us from pretty much every form of media we have 24/7. Knowing this, he could have kept his distance from her the whole time, barely addressing her, etc SO AS NOT TO APPEAR CREEPY. That's the point, which you've proven in your posts.
19 year old around a 15 year old? Must be for sex, automatic creep. That's the default setting in a lot of people's minds. He could have gone out of his way to avoid the mere pretense of that being the case. Instead he said 'Fuck it', I'm going to get to know this person and have fun with them and the group, and not for sexual purposes. Just to have fun.
Basically saying 'Fuck It' to those people and their assumptions. The reactions from you and the drama in the other thread have pretty much proven their was a need for a Fuck it post to that sub.
Not always, I knew a guy who was 26 and dated a 16 year old for six years, both of them were retarded idiots, no wisdom whatsoever between the two of them. she wasn't wise for a 16 year old, and sadly neither was he. Fun to hang out with the two of them though.
