It's a bit disturbing to me that these kinds of people can't seem to understand how basic human decency works. There's a bit of a fallacy in the statement "You were alone in a dark area with a drunk guy? OF COURSE you're gonna get raped" when 95% of men would probably just be chatting with them or something instead of violently attempting to grope them. It makes me think that "Alone with drunk girl in dark area at party? IT'S RAPING TIME" is their default train of thought. Very scary.

I've literally seen that kind of post on /r/AdviceAnimals.
You know, when I read it I subconsciously gave it the benefit of the doubt and remembered "I don't sexually assault" as "I don't make a move on them". I was thinking he was just being a jerk for saying only nice guys don't hit on drunk girls in relationships, but damn, he really did just say it's nice guy behavior to not sexually assault folks.
