Well, I feel the need to assign labels to MRAs because I want to know who to avoid on Reddit. And yes, if the only "interaction" I've ever had with someone conforms to what a specific group says/thinks, then I think it's fair for me to label them a member of that group until they prove to be a good person.

Let me put it this way. The only way I am similar to TERFs is that I support women's rights. However, I also support trans people, unlike TERFs. The way that the poster we are talking about is similar to MRAs is that he supports violence against women. Unfortunately, I've seen nothing else that makes me think he isn't an MRA.
