Yeah. The Big Bang Theory is really a hatecrime.
Eh, I don't have that much feeling toward it. But the simple fact it's made for the masses during primetime would MEAN it's not really geared toward the smarter people it's intending to portray.
Now, I don't blame them for this. A truly nerdy show would only be a hit with that segment of the population, and they are not watching primetime bullshit. So. Have to do what you make money from I guess, but the show definitely fucking sucks.

Okay. You don't seem to get what I am saying. It's about statistics and who watches what when. Not about the actual topics of the show. In order for TBBT to BE successful at its time slot, it's either had to be dumbed down or was to begin with.

Incorrect. I just know how the networks pander to different groups at different times. It's not about me not liking the show, even though I do think it's written like complete shit. It's about anything being shown at that time period. Do you think they are catering to rocket scientists at that time slot?

I'm sure some do. I'm sure some don't. I just know what that time slot is geared for, and it's not people with PhD's. I'm sorry if this fact offends you. If you like it, well that is up to you. But it is NOT what the time slot is geared for. They wouldn't make much money from a show only people WITH PhD's liked. So it's dumbed down. Why can't you just admit this?
