Say what you want about the USA, but it is the only country where you can really defend yourself if necessary.

Try this in Germany and you are in for attempted murder and assault.

Maybe the thief will think twice about taking cell phones that don't belong to him now.

He wouldn't be able to think twice if he fucking DIED.

If he did die, the drive would be going to jail for a long time

I once took some of my brothers Halloween candy when I was young.

Clearly I don't care about anybody.

Come back to me when you aren't so retarded.

No, it's not ok to take stuff. But obviously we live in a world where people are gonna do that anyways.

Whats NOT ok is taking a human life over crappy cell phone. I've ready a story of a soccer player that died in the field because she was hit in the head with the ball. This guy got ran over by a fucking truck. He's incredibly lucky to be alive. Now he can think about his actions.

However, if he died you know damn well the news title "Man kills thief over cellphone" would be incredibly fucked up.

So because people are going to do it anyway, the victim should be fine with being robbed and do nothing to stop him?

You know how you constantly hear police and people say, "If you're being robbed, just let them have it" ?

Because sometimes if you try to stop someone who robbed you, they bash your fucking skull in or shoot you.

This isn't Captain America guy. There is this thing called police. And they would love to have a reason to shoot a black person (especially in Texas)

No, police tell you to do that because they want you to feel complacent and afraid. In a world where you're not allowed to defend yourself or your property you're completely at the mercy of the authorities and the outlaws. Basically you can go crawl in a corner, I'd rather die protecting myself and my belongings than live like a coward.

In a recent story a mother went inside to pay for gas and left her children and purse in her car. A thief opened the van (with the kids inside) and took the purse and ran. The 8 year old boy chased after him into his car as the thief drove off like a maniac almost running over the boy.

A thief like that is extra scummy. Some of those people would kill the kid just in order to get away. In a case like that, I don't see how it's worth risking your life over a fucking purse.

>You know how you constantly hear police and people say, "If you're being robbed, just let them have it" ?

I'm from the south. I've never heard that.

>Because sometimes if you try to stop someone who robbed you, they bash your fucking skull in or shoot you.

And because of where I'm from, people think twice before they rob you because criminals aren't the only ones that carry guns despite the fact that's how Obama wants it.

Do you republicans ever shut the fuck up about Obama? holy shit. I'm from an incredibly democratic state and I just finished my classes for being able to carry a concealed weapon. He's not taking our guns..

No it wouldn't. He is within his rights to defend his property. That would be a sensationalized headline. A more reasonable headline would be "Man kills thief in an attempt to retrieve stolen property."

I think most people agrees that killing someone over 10$ worth of plastic and silicon is wrong.

But its not ok to be a victim, because its going to happend anyway either.

About the news title "Man kills thief over cellphone" is poissible but also sometihng like "Man refuse to give up" or "SUV justice" or some crap like that.

10$ worth of plastic? my phone is £500 sterling, and contains heaps of valuable data and contacts, damm right i would not give it up easily, even given the pissant uk laws about defending yourself and property, i would just make a better job of removing the body or the mental capacity of the thief to accuse me.

If you can't see the difference between a young child taking something from a sibling and an adult robbing another adult you might have problems.

The thief isn't a human being he is a piece of shit and the saddest part of this story is that he survived.
