Intortus IP banned me because he doesn't like me, I'm not anymore guilty of anything than the thousands of other people who have also brigaded, yet I get an IP ban that's supposed to be reserved for spammers and the absolute worst cyber bullies.
This is the only account my household can use now because of him abusing admin privileges.

I'm sure my vengeance was keenly felt.
What is so terrifying to me about this is that I often open up a shitload of tabs, and may not even get to them til hours later. I could very well end up in a thread that was linked by SRD, and have forgotten how I got there, start reading, see the crazy and start voting up/down. I do everything I can to not fuck with votes on linked threads, but I know I have done this in the past.
Well, now that SRSSucks doesn't even link to other subreddits anymore, I don't see the use in restricting my household's ability to create new accounts.
I don't see the use in leaving me with only one account. Alts can be useful to protect identities and such, if I need to vent or talk about something personal that I don't want used against me later, I can't do that now.

He said it was allegations of using alts to vote cheat.

You didn't do it because he wouldn't have said you allegedly did it if he knew that you did it. He's an admin and would know if you vote cheated but he knows that you didn't. It sounds like he needs some response to you questioning him IP banning you and he came up with some bullshit story.
He also said it wasn't him that did it...
Whether or not that's true doesn't matter though, he was nice enough to reverse it so I don't have bone to pick anymore.

To be fair, I don't think that the many SRSters who were shadowbanned for clicking little blue arrows deserve it either.
I remember when THIS PLACE had a problem with it, no one was S-banned then.
All meta linking will result in some people brigading, and I don't see why people should lose accounts over that.
A simple message from an admin would work so much better than out of the blue bans that you don't even notice until days later when you might not even remember why you might have been banned in the first place.

Your bans were 100% justified, you were participating in vote cheating and you got what was coming to you.
Now that you're smart enough to use alts to brigade changes nothing really, and I'm sure that has something to do with the alt ban.
I don't really care about SRS brigades, I usually am more interested in debating their ideology and pointing out hypocrisy.
