When a girl says she was "roofied" it's really just her trying to excuse her own slutty behavior. Real occurrence ? 0%-2% (en.wikipedia.org)

The #1 "date rape" drug is alcohol, and it is typically self inflicted.

You're being misogynist. You should know by now that for every one that's reported, like 5000 go unreported.

I love how upvoted this comment is and it didn't even need an /s tag. I think that reflects well on the intelligence of this community.

Alcohol is the sure fire real reason 99% of the time

I actually know a girl who was roofied, on two separate occasions, by the same friendzoned beta creep POS. Even called me and slurred like a deaf girl having anal sex. Told her what she needed to change about her life the day after, glad she escaped at least. And of course the whole scopolamine thing in South America is a real thing, though its uses extend much more commonly into theft and kidnapping than rape.

Yeah the whole date rape hysteria in the US is just overblown media hype. It simply doesn't happen in the US, at least not at a concerning level. Yet still, women are refusing drinks from guys because "you never know who will put a drug in your drink."

However, it does happen in Australia where there is an abundance of Indian manufactured prescription pills. Had a buddy get roofied once after accidentally taking someone elses drink (he thinks that is how it happened because no one tried to take advantage of him). Everyone said he seemed normal and was good to go home. However, he ended up going around the town from bars to churches. He has no idea what actually happened, and his only record of it is from other people he bumped into and photos he took. Yet, everyone that saw him that night said he seemed completely fine and just a little zoned out.

Women refuse drinks from guys because betas offer drinks to women.

Did you read the article?

>The study found that only six (0.5%) tested positive for Rohypnol. 8% tested positive for some other benzodiazepine

All benzos count as Date Rape drugs, if you put 4 mg of Xanax in an alcoholic drink it will dissolve almost instantly and assuming the person has been drinking and has no tolerance they're going to be pretty incapacitated. Considering other Benzos are much more accessible than Rohypnol, they're much more commonly used.

Still puts it at 8.5%, so really there's no point to exaggerate the number

Good point. They really should have controlled for prescribed drugs, though.

I was roofied once. It was either some asshole out to get me or it was intended for my gf and we accidentally switched drinks.

I only had about 3 drinks and I could barely walk and barely keep myself upright. And I puked my guts out in the bar bathroom. Y'know how you don't want to touch anything in any public bathroom? I didn't have enough energy for that kind of filter. I believe my arms were on the toilet seat to keep my head up.

One time is all it takes for me to superglue my drinks to my hand all night long. I don't care if I'm spilling it now and again. It's never happened again.

That's not a roofie, that's GHB. GHB is popular amongst the gay scene because it gives you similar feelings of light ecstasy and being drunk, without the calories!

The problem is, mix it with alcohol and it becomes a nightmare. Usually one beer, maybe 2, is fine, but getting any sort of buzz from alcohol turns out very bad. You can barely keep your eyes open, walk, and you feel incredibly sick. Having someone take care of you is a must.

It's generally not a date rape drug, however, due to how sick and drunk it can make people, it has been used for just that. Basically, get the person to the point where they can't even stand, and "take them home to get some rest".

But yeah, you didn't take a roofie. That was GHB.

Also pretty lame for the guy that just wasted perfectly good GHB on you.

A very good friend of mine (roommate at the time) was roofied by her tutor. Same thing as what you described, she was on her third drink and practically passed out, some of her other friends had to carry her back home. Shit is real. The guy tried to sneak into our room, me and some of her friends ran his ass out. The next day she seriously could not remember a single thing about the night before after that drink, she said it seemed to be blacked out of her mind. For the record, she was no stranger to alcohol or drugs, and has never experienced anything like before. I took her to the hospital the next morning where they drug tested her - nothing showed up, and the hospital staff told us that roofies never show up on them unless it's within a half hour of ingesting them.

This unfortunately does happen. It most recently happened to my very pretty lesbian friend in Las Vegas and she suffered a concussion from blacking out while out celebrating with her soccer team. She only had two drinks before she began acting strange. She ended up vomiting multiple times, falling down and foaming at the mouth. This is actually a problem, and a messed up problem at that.

Or she was drinking strong cocktails, on an empty stomach while slightly dehydrated

If she has been running around all day in the vegas heat, and not hydrating properly... and / or she had a touch of heat stroke it would produce the same effect.

I've seen so many skanks who talk about their 'fear of roofies'. The pathetic part is that they think nobody notices their hypocrisy, even though it's common knowledge that they have lifelong season passes for the cock carousel.

The self-delusional power of the hamster force never ceases to amaze.

Nice try feminists, but this screams troll.

The use of a decent amount of redpill terminology in one post and a blatant disregard for women because "thats what TRP is all about" gave you away. Nice try.

Are you saying that it's hypocrisy to be scared of rape if one fucks around?
