Reddit Admins Banning MR and TRP Accounts -- Are the subs themselves next? (self.TheRedPill)

6 ups - 1 downs = 5 votes

Consider yourselves warned. Several of us have been hinted to that the gynocentrism of Reddit wouldn't tolerate us much longer and it appears the admins are finally starting to put those threats into practice.

I've had 2 accounts get shadowbanned with no explaination in the last 24 hours, all because I partake in /r/mensrights and /r/theredpill. (one account for each sub)

Your above submission to /r/TheRedPill has been removed, because you have a new account with little karma. Please lurk and contribute more in discussion before posting a new submission. You may also visit /r/askTRP if you have questions related to being new to the red pill.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Could somebody explain this? Is this irony or is it something of genuine concern?

This bot automatically removes posts from very new users to prevent SRSters and whoever else from making throwaways and trolling/shaming us. It's completely automated, and the fact that I can still see the post makes me think the moderaters possibly unremoved it.

I had a post made an AskReddit that didn't post and isn't in my history, is this the shadowbanning you speak of?

Logout and refresh your user page, if it says page not found you've been shadow banned. If you are not logged in paste your user name at the end of this http://www.re ddit.com/user/ and pressing enter. You'll have to remove the space in reddit since we can no longer cross link. If it says page not found and shows you a graphic you've been banned.

You aren't banned currently because I can see your user profile and up vote your post.

If you were shadow banned I wouldn't be able to see your post or your user profile. If you are shadow banned your votes don't count and your comments aren't seen by anyone but you (you do not exist and cannot participate on reddit besides signing in and viewing threads).

Yeah, my other account was shadow banned too.

"I was shadow banned for posting in r/relationships and r/askmen. It didn't matter that I posted in those subreddits before the red pill even existed. I was banned for "invading" and my non-politically correct comments. Apparently our opinions are no longer welcome in certain subreddits. If you post here be warned the bluepill, srs and whiteknights will immediately dismiss your opinion and try to ban you for leaking or invading other subs. Heaven forbid we give a guy an honest opinion about what we feel is in his best interest instead of recommending something stupid like counseling and forgiveness. I'm assuming I posted an unpopular opinion and the mod looked in my comment history to justify dismissing me. I'd strongly recommend people use alternate accounts to post here. Also, fuck them for not being able to make rational non-emotional arguments. I'll just keep creating accounts and posting what I want."
