Oh get over it. Americans constantly make fun of other countries all over Reddit and get upvoted massively for it. Anytime someone else makes a comment about America or makes a joke about Americans you get the whole thread full of Americans whining about it then it gets linked here so more of you guys can complain and whine about how persecuted you are on Reddit while you downvote raid the thread and crucify anyone who DARES say anything negative about Americans or America.
Someone makes a joke about another country and all you get is a bunch of you guys telling everyone to get over it and talk about 'how it was a joke' and 'FREE SPEECH MOTHER FUCKER'. Someone makes a joke about Americans and all you ever go on about is the 'anti-american' circle jerk or whatever else you manufactured.

Bullshit, reddit jokes about rape and paedophilia all the time but if you are outraged by that, you're 'goddamn fucking SRS' because in redditors' minds the only person who doesn't think rape and pedo stuff isn't funny MUST BE SRS. When I see American redditors outraged over anti-American stuff or anti-America jokes I feel like telling them to stfu unless they are equally outraged over other shitty jokes. Otherwise it's just hypocrisy at its finest.
So when I see American redditors outraged about jokes poking fun at Americans like that joke in that thread about Americans invading Bangladesh mistakenly because they were bad at geography... Well, I am pretty tired of that because Reddit is like a 24/7 shitty massively-upvoted&gilded jokes about extremely tired stereotypes (and false too) of stuff like 'rotten British teeth' and such rubbish.
EDIT: For reference, I am Russian, so yeah. And I don't think Americans deserve to be blown up. But I don't think that's what the guy there was saying. 'Poetic justice' is often very harsh and cruel. It is a sort of a Hammurabic/Biblical 'your entire nation gets eye for eye, tooth for tooth even if only a few comitted a crime'. It's not good. It is very bad. Innocent people die. But is there a sense of cruel karmic revenge here? Yes, I'd argue. Lots of Bostonians supported the IRA. Well, why not see what the results of your actions look like then? It's never fair because it's never exactly those who do the bad things that are punished. But the society learns a collective lesson of a sort. Terrorism is bad and should never be supported, even when it is under the guise of 'freedom fighting at any cost'.

They are trying, very very hard, they're not 'shutting down' either the EU or US, the economic miracle is coming to an end and their prosperity is built on an incredibly unstable series of loans. That, and their population is going to start aging like a bastard soon.
