Not being allowed to discriminate really pisses some people off.
Ask them if a shop owner should be able to not allow black or Jewish people to shop at their store? Of course.
Good chance the demographic that always says this is a white male who most likely would never deal with a problem. Of course the moment someone discriminated against him though that would be wrong somehow.
Edit: In his history I see military posts, lots of anti-gay posts around Reddit even one in /r/morbidreality, and a post here where he said a subreddit should be deleted.
Edit 2: Oh no he unsubscribed from /r/startreck! Whatever will they do without him!
Edit 3: Wow! He appears to also be pro-life aka anti-choice. This is hilarious since this whole thing is him talking about how it takes away person choice to force them to let get people shop at a store.
They aren't anti-gay. It is just that you are so fucking stupid that anything less than complete praise and adoration for gays is akin to being a homophobe.
Looking for equality and promoting actual rights is just too much for you to understand.
And yes, I want the right to discriminate. Just like you are doing. If you ran a restaurant would you want to serve the Westboro Baptist Church? What about some Nazis? The KKK? How about some anti-abortion protesters?
You only support the rights of people you like.
>They aren't anti-gay.
Yes they are.
>It is just that you are so fucking stupid that anything less than complete praise and adoration for gays is akin to being a homophobe.
Homophobes have a habit of saying that when they get caught. Good to see you aren't an exception.
>Looking for equality and promoting actual rights is just too much for you to understand.
So not allowing people to shop because of race, gender, religion, or sexuality is equality and freedom to you I see.
>And yes, I want the right to discriminate.
Well at least you admit it now I guess it this is all over now.
>Just like you are doing.
Well I guess not just a stop on the crazy train.
>If you ran a restaurant would you want to serve the Westboro Baptist Church? What about some Nazis? The KKK? How about some anti-abortion protesters?
I would serve them. It is a business it doesn't make sense to not serve them and that would be discrimination. You do know normal people find discrimination wrong right? Even then this makes no sense people choose to be in those organizations you don't choose to be gay. Are you about to go on a rant where you "cured" your homosexuality and that is why you know it is a choice? Because if so I have news for you....
>You only support the rights of people you like.
This is coming from the guy whose whole point is limiting the rights of people he doesn't like.
>to not serve them and that would be discrimination
I'm pretty sure political ideology isn't a protected class, and you could kick the nazis out of your store.
Are you saying you think someone should be forced to serve them?
>Yes they are
No they aren't. You are just too delicate.
>Homophobes have a habit of saying that when they get caught. Good to see you aren't an exception.
And idiots say what you are saying.
>So not allowing people to shop because of race, gender, religion, or sexuality is equality and freedom to you I see.
Yes. It is. Do you pick potential significant others based upon who they are? Yes? Well you should be in jail for discrimination.
>I would serve them. It is a business it doesn't make sense to not serve them and that would be discrimination. You do know normal people find discrimination wrong right?
It be wrong and it being illegal are two entirely different things.
It is wrong to cheat on your spouse. It is wrong to disown your adult child. It is wrong to stick your dick in a blender. But I'm not about to make a law against them.
>This is coming from the guy whose whole point is limiting the rights of people he doesn't like.
Why do you think people have the right to my goods or services?
> No they aren't. You are just too delicate.
Or you are a bigot which is how most of society views you.
>And idiots say what you are saying.
Well sets see if your reasonings for everything else I said match that I am the idiot.
>Yes. It is. Do you pick potential significant others based upon who they are? Yes? Well you should be in jail for discrimination.
What is wrong with you. How poorly were you raised to become like this I really want to know. It is fascinating that someone can grow up in the modern world and still think like this. Or are you a baby boomer who discovered he could try to spread hatred on the internet because Fox News said so?
>It be wrong and it being illegal are two entirely different things.
>It is wrong to cheat on your spouse. It is wrong to disown your adult child. It is wrong to stick your dick in a blender. But I'm not about to make a law against them.
Dick in blender = gay people shopping. Good to see where you stand on understanding the concept of rights.
>Why do you think people have the right to my goods or services?
You open a shop, you have goods or services, someone requests those goods or services at the price you yet, they receive them. This is how it works.
Why are there laws stating you have to sell those goods to people of different religions, genders, ect?
Well that is because society has decided by a large majority that discrimination is wrong. There are some bigots, like you, who without a law would deny service all but white heterosexual males who attend the same denomination of the christian church. Society has decided to keep people like you in check that a laws against it are required.
You don't have a right to sell your goods and services. This is why you are required to get licenses to do so. You are agreeing that to sell your services you will follow the laws and if not you can't sell them.
I find it amazing you decided to give yourself the right to sell goods, which you actually don't have, and you want to limit who can buy them, when they do have a right to be able yo buy products from a business.
hahahahahahahahahahaha
Refusing service to gays is pretty fuckin homophobic.
Yes, for that person. I'm not disagreeing with that.
But I support the right of any person to discriminate against anyone for any reason.
If a gay person opened a store that only served gay people, I would have absolutely no problem. That is their business and they can sell or not sell to anyone.
My position is entirely neutral.
Discrimination has no place in the 21st century.
> I support the right of any person to discriminate against anyone for any reason.
True liberty is my being able to allow n****** and f*** to starve.
Yes, totally neutral.
It just so happens that it disproportionately affects minorities' use of public accommodations, but otherwise, completely neutral.
It's so sad because Star Trek was all about inclusiveness and helping people no matter the race, creed or species. Kirk would break rules and laws to help those that needed help fuck the Prime Directive.
Spock and Kirk would shake their heads.
You have a very flawed understanding of society.
Businesses exist because of the infrastructure and services that society provides. Employees are educated in public schools, goods are shipped over public roads, courts and the justice system enforce contracts that ensure the business isn't cheated, among millions of other things.
All of that is paid for by each and every member of society. A business doesn't get to then turn around and refuse service to one of those members.
> yes, I want the right to discriminate
>the Westboro Baptist Church? What about some Nazis? The KKK? How about some anti-abortion protesters?
People don't choose to be gay. Being gay doesn't mean you actively hate other people like some of the groups you listed. All of these are views or organizations that people subscribe to. And even then I don't support discrimination against them unless they're actively shouting their beliefs in the restaurant.
