A small kerfuffle arises in r/sherlock when u/shitsfuckedupalot fails to understand "why girls just can't admit they like to imagine two dudes fucking." (np.reddit.com)

What are you even talking about? Its a show about friendship, and a pretty good one at that. I was pointing out how silly it is to reimagine the show as a vague sexual fantasy. At least tumblr fan fiction girls have the common courtesy to include the gritty details. All that video was some clips arranged into a vague gay hitch. I dont even know where you got half of that from.
> Well that's just a myth. If you're not fucking, then you're not in a relationship. you're just friends.
I never said anything about feelings. I was simply pointing out the difference between a friendship and a relationship. Typically, theres sex or sexual feelings between people in a relationship.
There is a difference between romantic and platonic feelings, and sexual feelings don't require romantic ones, and vice versa.
romantic feelings are a type of sexual feelings. you can still have sexual feelings without romantic feelings. platonic feelings are neither.
You...you can totally have romantic feelings without sexual feelings. It's called being asexual.
thats not a real sexuality. thats just people too awkward to have sex. i already addressed in that thread you linked that no one would watch a romantic comedy with someone who's "asexual" because its unrealistic and boring.
>thats not a real sexuality. thats just people too awkward to have sex.
Wow. There's idiots and then there's you.
'$SEXUALITY don't real because it doesn't fit my worldview!!1'
literally this
are you asexual? they're essentially unicorns
I know several in real life. And yes, some of them form romantic relationships. Others choose not to.
I think /r/asexuality might disagree with you.
I know them and I love them.
