Of course, /r/TheRedPill has to fire their own shots.
>His humor is great, but his white knighting knows no bounds. He should stick to subjects that his aspie ass can grok. [+12]
.
>White-knighting is utterly pathetic. No man who goes to bat for "women" or apologizes "for men" could ever have my respect again. It is utterly misguided, Stockholm-syndrome level delusion. [+9]
.
>fuck that bp turd and his stick figures. [+6]
I like how TRP's standard for what constitutes "white knighting" is basically "anything short of being a rapist."
If there ever were a white knight, it would be this guy. Throwing his entire gender under the bus to please women and assure them they're always right. Here come the downvotes...
You guys seem to have a lot of trouble with basic reading comprehension. I didn't say a thing about women, let alone that they're always right, and the only people I threw under the bus are redpillers and rapists. (A Venn diagram that probably closely resembles a circle anyway.) Under the bus is where they belong. The rest of my gender is doing just fine, but thanks for your concern!
Pretty sure redpillers dislike the nice guy idea more than anyone but anyways the comic implies that women never lead men on and that every rejection is 100% justified and men should never be allowed to complain.
My bad, I thought you were referring to me but it turns out you were just having a much crazier overreaction to the comic itself.
It's not saying any of those things. All it's saying is that the whole "I know what you REALLY want, ladies" routine is A) hilarious, coming from the bitter lonely guys it's coming from, and B) kind of insulting. Most people don't react well to being told that think you know their opinions better than they do.
Well you have to look at it from the perspective that since we've been young we've been told if we are nice and try hard we will be rewarded with a mate. This isn't true every man has to, at some point, learn this the hard way and take women off of a pedestal. Its not a magic bullet but there is a process to be had. I know redpill gets a lot of hate, but if they weren't so extreme some of their ideas (taking women off the pedestal, bettering oneself, etc.) have good intentions but are ruined by their bitterness.
You keep sandwiching almost reasonable statements next to ridiculous ones, and it's throwing me off. For example, this:
>Well you have to look at it from the perspective that since we've been young we've been told if we are nice and try hard we will be rewarded with a mate.
....is completely bananas. Seriously, you're going to want to drop it from your argument repertoire entirely. You're probably thinking I'm just exaggerating how weird the "mate" thing is for comedic effect, but that's the least of your problems here. Reward is an offputting way to think of this.
>This isn't true every man has to, at some point, learn this the hard way and take women off of a pedestal. Its not a magic bullet but there is a process to be had. The way you're so absolute about this one kind of bums me out, it's like you can't even envision a scenario where it doesn't happen. Still, not putting anyone on an unrealistic pedestal is generally a good idea. I don't share your optimism about the intentions of your average redpiller, but otherwise this is fairly rational.
