I don't hate bitcoin. I hate the people who use it

Oh right, kinda like "I don't hate people of color x, I hate their culture"?

I don't even know how to respond to that

Ok here's a more reasonable one: "I don't hate the sport x, I hate the players", is that alright?

The point is you are trying, and that's what matters.

Thanks for the CondescensionCoins, but I think anyone who believes that /r/bitcoin is representative of bitcoin community is an idiot. Granted, there are many libertarian whackos and all sorts of morons. If you really hate some of the users and not the bitcoin itself, you're trying really hard to give the wrong impression.

People make the argument "/r/blahblah is not representative of the Blah Blah community, don't be ridiculous" about literally every subreddit. Reddit must be full of the worst members of every community.

It's even funnier when people try to say it about TheRedPill when the subreddit literally is the named movement

>but I think anyone who believes that /r/bitcoin is representative of bitcoin community is an idiot

I don't think they represent bitcoin completely, but besides them and silkroad communities on Reddit I don't know a single damn person who uses the things.

So to me currently, they do represent bitcoin.

It'd be like asking me to make a judgement on hardcore grown up MLP fans. I've never met one, so I have to judge it off Reddit.

You call it stupid, but since bitcoin is such a niche community in the fucking world. Where else would you like people to make a judgement of their community?

So I'm sorry your bitcoin community on Reddit sucks, but you're also another one it seems who sounds like a douchebag. So oh well, guess I'll continue to judge you by your reddit community!

Yes, exactly like that. I don't like the Bitcoiners because of their loud music and baggy pants.
