Why the hell am I constantly asked if I'm a "serial killer" on dating sites? (self.MensRants)

It's a really fucking offensive question.

I'm male, so therefore I'm probably a serial killer.

Imagine if I did that to black people... or jews. It's fucking bigoted.

Further. It's just a stupid god damn question.

  1. If I'm not a serial killer. I'm obviously going to say no...

  2. if I AM a serial killer, I'M STILL GOING TO FUCKING SAY NO.

... so all it really does is serve to offend the other person.

Fuck these anti-male stereotypes. I'm a good person. Stop treating me like a potential rapist/serial killer.

I have a few times, like if I offer a female friend or coworker a ride for the first time.

It seems to have to do with a blind initial meeting.

If you ask a girl to even remotely put herself out there she freaks out.

There are lots of nice girls out there.

I was picked up by two nice girls while hitchhiking in Yellowstone.

Yes and I recently pulled over to help a girl who was maybe 18-20. She let me try to fix her car including letting me into the car with her to try starting it. When I called for a tow for her through my company she gave me her name and never made me feel like a "creeper". I had a meeting to go to so I left her on the side of the road waiting for the truck but later that night I got a very nice text thanking me.

It is not all bad out there. They don't all act like victims.

I wouldn't go so far as to say bitch. I think "conditioned" is a better description.

Those assuming females still fail at life. To say something like that to someone trying to be nice is still rude. Just say no and take the bus, her "conditioning" should have taught her that at least.

Still better than the women who want to me me apologize for not wanting to be repeatedly hit and saying so.

You probably made a shitty profile. I have literally never been asked this once in my entire life.
