You know your subreddit is morally repugnant when you get downvoted in /r/cringe.
Agreed. It's really telling when racists, bigots, and assholes join forces with their own enemies to rail against you.
One of the more interesting aspects of /r/thebluepill is how many people there are not feminists, disagree with feminism, or even are outright MRAs (they're not a majority, but it's more than I would've expected). But everyone's united in thinking Terps are nuts.
Because they are nuts. Besides many of them agree with MRA, giving MRAs a bad name. It's like how the Republicans tend to distance themselves from the KKK.
It's one thing to disagree with modern day feminism- it's another to espouse widely debunked theories on female inferiority.
Amusingly, even the KKK distance themselves from TRP. I mean, how much more comprehensive can you get?
Actually that was a black woman pretending.
Ah, didn't know that.
Neither did I when I argued with her. Ah well, we all get trolled or live to become the troll, I suppose.
A geniuous black woman
... well, you've forced my fucking hand. I'm not happy about this you know.

Ahahah is this For real?
Wow.. they got something in common with Westbrough baptist...
I also liked when he said that any average man could take the strongest woman on the planet. Bullshit. Ronda Rousey would absolutely DESTROY most men if they fought her. Especially those without training. Anyone who's practiced martial arts knows exactly how fucking incredible her judo is.
> It's like how the Republicans tend to distance themselves from the KKK.
The KKK is historically associated with the Democrat party, actually. Presently it's just kind of a decentralized smattering of groups totalling maybe a few thousand people and obviously isn't associated with any party, but really at no time in history has it been a Republican organization.
You're absolutely right. The Democratic Party was the party of the south from the time of reconstruction, where republicans foisted oppressive reentry policies on to the south til the Reagan presidency. I don't think a republics won a single southern state til Nixon or Reagan. Party systems shift in America all the time.
Nixon won a few southern states, but the south didn't start voting reliably Republican until the Reagan era.
Historically being the key word. The Klans politics are aligned closer to the modern Republican party, and that party does take current measures to distance itself from the Klan.
Also, it's Democratic party, Rush.
> The Klans politics are aligned closer to the modern Republican party
There's never been any kind of coordination between the Republican party and the KKK like there was with the DemocratIC party. You only think this because you believe the Republican party is racist.
When did I say there was coordination between the groups? I said the opposite in the second to last sentence of my post, and you're clearly not understanding the part of my post that you quoted.
Can you explain your assumption that I think all republicans, such as my entire family, are racists? I don't remember ever saying or thinking that.
> When did I say there was coordination between the groups?
I didn't claim you did, I was making a point. You're trying to establish a connection between Republicans and the KKK and I think this is an important point for refuting that idea.
>Can you explain your assumption that I think all republicans, such as my entire family, are racists?
You said that the KKK is most similar to modern Republicans in ideology. I can only assume that you were referring to racism, since it's kind of the defining trait of the KKK. Maybe you were referring to the KKK's views on Chicago School Economics, but I kind of doubt it.
When did i say there was a connection between the two groups? I stated that the Klan's politics are more closely aligned with the modern Republican than the mdoern Democratic party, which is true.
You assumed wrong, the Klan has more to their political ideals than racism.
You seem to have a problem with making assumptions about people who dare not to agree with you completely. I'm not really in the habit of correcting people's assumptions, so going forward if you would like to know something about me or for me to clarify, feel free to ask. I'll ignore further insulting assumptions.
Dixiecrats weren't really the same thing as democrats. Its mostly that they never forgave the republicans for Lincoln... that is until dems started pushing civil rights, then southern whites went republican.
Dixiecrats weren't really the same thing as democrats. Its mostly that they never forgave the republicans for Lincoln... that is until dems started pushing civil rights, then southern whites went republican.
> Dixiecrats weren't really the same thing as democrats.
Except for party affiliation? It's kind of beside the point anyway, since the KKK has been around a lot longer than the Dixiecrats and has always been associated with the Democrats. One of their stated goals was to keep Democrats in power.
I'm not saying that the modern Democratic party is still responsible or culpable for the KKK. LBJ/Kennedy moved the party away from that. It's just disingenuous to imply that the KKK was a Republican organization.
>dems started pushing civil rights, then southern whites went republican
This is kind of a myth, actually. True, Nixon attempted the "Southern Strategy" and got some southern vote because of it. It was ultimately a failed experiment though. The South didn't start voting reliably Republican until the Reagan era. It had more to do with a new generation of southern politics and Reagan's christian coalition than anything to do with civil rights. The vast majority of Dixiecrats remained Democrats.
Dixiecrats weren't really the same thing as democrats. Its mostly that they never forgave the republicans for Lincoln... that is until dems started pushing civil rights, then southern whites went republican.
Seems to me (please don't hate me if I'm wrong) that the problem originates from having so many different factions of equality that they breed radicals and reactionaries on both sides. Couldn't there just be one movement that includes every single human, regardless of race, sex, or social status?
There are subgroups because some things like homosexuality is acceptable to only a fraction of other subgroups (example, feminism, Christianity). People want also contribute to certain causes partly because the empathy problem, also because they want to focus and make the most improvement in that cause. Also, there are subgroups that want the same thing but disagree over how to achieve their goal. (pacifism vs violence, policy-change vs grassroots, government vs private)
A movement that includes every equality for every single human quickly splinter or become mired in bickering as intolerance/differences are revealed. That's just true and don't be surprised if your movement starts developing subgroups.
Radicals and Reactionaries form because human nature. Not because there are different factions.
Yep. And the fact that TRPers still think of themselves as locked in an existential struggle against "feminazis" is one of many sure signs that TRP is just angry man-children lashing out in a desperate plea for attention and relevance.
>thinking Terps are nuts.
Poor University of Maryland. They now have to share their sports team's nickname with Redpillers.
Everyone thinks TRP are fucking crazy probably because of their hate towards everything female and the idea of 'picking up women by insulting them'. The whole idea is beyond me. I stride away from that TRP bullshit and try to be just a human being and haha! It works.
TRP just looks like a hidey-hole for all those that were hurt by their mothers and now want to take it all out on the world.
Or maybe its just the idea 'women didn't want me so I will take the most extremist, stupid ideas, try them out and mindlessly believe in them even if I fail'.
But hey, im already banned there for speaking out negatively. Whoops.
The Red Pill insults pretty much every group they are based off. MRA's see them as their own Radfems, /r/seduction rather wishes they don't exist, yet see them as examples of 'Don't be that guy' or 'He's going to be the catalyst'.
Any goal TRP tries to go for, they fail so much and other subeditors can easily handle it better than that.
I think it's because TRP manages to directly insult practically everyone who isn't a redpiller.
All women are irrational objects.
All married men, and men in stable longterm relationships are pathetic losers.
All unmarried men who aren't getting laid are pathetic losers.
And literally everyone else is deluded by the blue pill.
Who is left to not be pissed at them?
I sometimes wonder whether TRPers are actually idiots or if since explanations of their ideology are downvoted to oblivion I just only get to see comments accusing them of [insert label here]...
...then I read shit like this. What is wrong with these people?
>It's really telling when racists, bigots, and assholes join forces with their own enemies to rail against you.

Currently the most upvoted post on TRP.
Wow.
"I mean, no shit it's hard to find the intelligence of a 30 year old in a 23 year old's body. I rather have both. But realistically, at the end of the day, I'm going with the 23 year old and let her grow with me, so by the time she's 30, I've had her in her physical prime, and now I can have her in her intellectual prime. I'm not saying one person is objectively worse than the other as a person or contributor to society, but when it comes to mate selection, yeah, one seems to be better. This is a fucking "sexual strategy" sub. Don't think we are saying you are useless as human beings when you hit 30, that's ridiculous."
This comment was prefaced by "It really bothers me sometimes how ignorant these people are."
wat
to be fair, he's probably 21 and thinks that 30 is crypt-creeper status. I can remember thinking that way, and boy did my 20s go by fast.
Or he's 30 and can't relate to anyone his age because he's gross.
on a long enough timeline, both will be correct
And there was me thinking that women were in their sexual prime around the age of 30
That's a myth. Evolution doesn't allow an animal's reproductive prime and peak horniness to be at 2 different times.
This is also why men are most attracted to ~18-23 year old women, they're the most fertile.
Like it or not, for pure sexual attraction the average 18 year old girl is way hotter than a really pretty 30 year old woman to almost all men.
/r/theredpill seems like a perfect place for you. They love that evolutionary psychology bullshit pseudoscience.
Guess where he is from....
lol oops :3
>The best male breeding strategy is to have sex with as many fertile (young/healthy) women as possible. The quality of the woman's genetics are irrelevant, as having a crappy genetic child for a man doesn't mean he can now have one fewer good children, he simply has one more child, which is good. Maybe that 'crap' child will surprise and end up not crap, if not who cares, he only spent 5 minutes to make that child anyways.
From his most recent PhD dissertation on BioTruths in /r/theredpill.
This man is a scholar on evolutionary psychology. I can't believe I just referred him to the university where he already has tenure.
>Seriously, put some lube in your cunt, lie on your stomach and watch Friends re-runs while your husband drills you from behind for a couple minutes. It's of little to no inconvenience to you.
He is a real charmer.
>he only spent 5 minutes to make that child anyways.
I think I found the root of TRP's issues.
5 minutes. Wow. Such virility. Much endurance.
That's amazing that he thinks anybody outside of that sub will ever take him seriously.
I am just here to point out that evo pysch isn't a bullshit science.
TPR just picks out all of the debunked shitty stuff. Or twists the proven stuff. Any evo-pychologist would shake their heads at their shitty logic.
I took a course in Human Sexuality, and we focused on social, evolutionary, and neuroscientific studies. So it makes me very angry to see this many people also giving a very interesting science a bad rap. At the end of the day human sexuality is so much more complicated than what they say. (Even monkey sexuality is more fucking complicated!)
/endrant
The thing about evolutionary psychology is that much like its direct scientific ancestor, Racial Science, it is at best a novel avenue to arrive at hypotheses.
Due to the fact these hypotheses are almost exclusively untestable, however, the scientific community has moved past it, leaving the much larger Credulous, Self-Important Douchebag community to use it as a way to apply a thin veneer of respectability to the sentence "no really all my opinions about what's okay to do and what's not okay are supported by a higher power, trust me on this one, what incentive would I have to lie."
My experience with evo-psych is far different then. I know that academics tend to end up in this weird self sustaining think tank outside of reality, but perhaps it was just my particular professor who made it seem more multi-diciplinary.
He made it clear everything was a hypothesis, and we chose what had the best science applied to it. There was a lot of 'I am presenting this because I have to as an academic'. And the whole point was to think critcally about peoples hypothesis and research. I tended to be more convinced by the stuff that was research cross culturally.
So, perhaps I am using 'evo-pysch' incorrectly and as an umbrella term for the type of reasoning used in the course. We looked at a number of explanations for behaviour, and none were fully right or completely wrong. Evo-psych was just one kind of explanation. I personally enjoyed the neuroscience stuff the most. Calling some traits male-typical, and others female-typical while still being sensitive to gender and sexual identity. We were symplifing things for understanding, but it was clear it was more complicated than the terms we were asked to remember.
Tl;dr: My course was not just evo psych, it was multi-diciplinary and encouraged critical analysis. It was just as complicated as human sexuality.
Your post is just derpy.
>...to almost all men.
Do you really think that by including the qualifier 'almost all' you get to generalize broadly like that?
Please, do tell me more about what I, as a straight man, find appealing. And when I disagree, don't forget to note the fact that you said almost all, and not all. Then we can finish off with a few accusations that I have been brainwashed by this or that, and that I am too beta to understand genetically proven facts.
> Do you really think that by including the qualifier 'almost all' you get to generalize broadly like that?
Sure, here's another example: almost all men want to have sex with women.
Are you really going to deny the importance of men place on youth in selecting a partner?
> Then we can finish off with a few accusations that I have been brainwashed by this or that, and that I am too beta to understand genetically proven facts.
I personally don't care about TRP, and have no allegiance to them. I agree with some of the things they say and disagree with others.
If you don't find young women the most attractive, that's fine and I'll believe you, but you are in the minority.
> Like it or not, for pure sexual attraction the average 18 year old girl is way hotter than a really pretty 30 year old woman to almost all men.
That is seriously retarded.
Evolution doesn't allow anything. Evolution doesn't give a shit. It lacks the capacity to care. Evolution just is. Whatever is successful will perpetuate, and in modern culture, a LOT OF THINGS dictate what is successful and what is not. Jesus, man. Read up on your biology.
> Like it or not, for pure sexual attraction the average 18 year old girl is way hotter than a really pretty 30 year old woman to almost all men.
Which is why, if I polled a bunch of people right now, they'd say Abigail Breslin is hotter than Mila Kunis. And Miley Cyrus is hotter than Scarlett Johansson. Yep.
Or you're full of shit.
Yes, the two younger girls are more attractive than the 2 older ones today (Though I find Miley ridiculous, there's no denying she is hot.)
The only reason you'd get people choosing Mila and Scarlett is because they'd be thinking of those two girls 5-10 years ago, when they established themselves as sex symbols.
If Mila & Scarlett became famous at 30, they would not be thought of as sex symbols.
Look at current candid pictures of them, especially ones without makeup. They don't look good.
Young girls on the other hand, with the exception of severe acne, look as good without makeup.
Do you live in a box? I'm assuming a box situated somewhere completely devoid of human habitation. Let's say some National Forest. I'm imagining your neighbors are bears. Did you name the bears? I would.
Do me a favor. Follow a river downstream. Find some sort of human habitation or campsite. Make sure you put on clothes first. Poll the people you find there: "who is hotter, Mila Kunis or Miley Cyrus?" and then ask "who is more annoying, Mila Kunis or Miley Cyrus?"
If more people answer Miley for the former, and Mila for the latter, I will attach $50 to a squirrel and release him in your neck of the woods. Wait, you obviously don't need money where you live. I'll attach a signed first edition of Strauss's The Game, helpfully waterproofed for your rough living situation.
Report back. God speed!
Every time I hear that 30 is old I almost bust a side. Literally nobody thinks this. Every normal person thinks 30 is young, fertile, vibrant, and hot. Even Hollywood, the harshest judge of female beauty on the planet, doesn't exactly toss women out on their butts at 30. Maybe 40. But 30? Fuck no.
I also want to know what kind of chromosomal analysis he's doing to tell a 23-year-old from a 30-year-old. Unless you live a chain-smoking life, nobody looks much different between 23 and 30. Dudes probably look less rangy and women probably lose a bit of baby fat in their cheeks. But that's just about it. 30 isn't really even old enough to wrinkle or go gray for most people.
I like the lies they tell themselves about how they're attracted to physical youth. Nah, they're attracted to emotional youth. As in, easily manipulated young adults who aren't quite sure yet of their place in the world.
Sick fucks.
> Literally nobody thinks this.
Sixteen year-olds do. And those who never matured beyond that.
Little do they know, they're probably beatin' it to porn stars closer to 30 than they realize. Yeah, just because it's called Horny Teens, doesn't mean anyone in there is actually a teenager.
But her hair was in pigtails and she was wearing white cotton panties!
>Marie Curie and Norman Borlaug are more valuable to humanity than pretty much everyone, man and woman, that I've ever met. Neither has any sexual value to me whatsoever.
Marie Curie is dead.
>Women have a serious decline in fertility and attractiveness around 30, typically obvious when they're 35.
This is so laughably adolescent I'm just letting it stand alone.
>I don't know where this claim came from.
It came from an endorsed contributor, I'm pretty sure. lrn2redpill
Women decline in attractiveness around 30, but you won't actually realize it for another 5 years. How on earth is someone less attractive without being less attractive?
Refuted? The majority of responses can be summarised as "Yes" or "No, but really yes".
The only thing TRP refutes is any assumption they have critical thinking or self awareness. What a bunch of betas, have to create some half cooked pseudo philosophy using cherry picked and misunderstood/pieces pieces science to fluff up their bullshit.
> What a bunch of betas,
It really does reek of insecurity and immaturity in there.
Yeah, the most hilarious part of TRP for me is that they always complain about "blue pillers" and women "hamstering" (as in rationalizing) when they fail to realize everything they call TRP is a result of them "hamstering" because they failed at interactions with the opposite sex.
"Women don't like me so they're all simplistic whores!"
The level of insecurity and idiocy it takes to assume the problem is billions of other people and not yourself is astounding.
Reverse hamstering. :)
Refuted? He basically confirms ~~half~~ most of it.
Edit: Damn. One comment and I think I've fulfilled my daily comedic stipend.
> Strawman arguments, strawman arguments everywhere. >>Sigh, the strawman game. >>>They just want to wallow in their emotions/outrage over made-up strawman BS >>>>It's annoying to see strawmen arguments boxed in by circlejerkers patting themselves in the back. >>>>>I've been here for a long time, I hear the same tired inconsequential nonsesne this sub's userbase does not endorse at all. The funniest things is that the "issues" pointed out being bad about TRP ? they don't even originate here - it's mosty from strawmanned posts from /r/thebluepill or mainstream reddit.
They sure as shit love that word over there.
> "Straw man", used when losing to an opponent
The fallacy fallacy strikes again.
"I'm not wrong you just don't understand the extremely simplistic black and white shitty TRP-shitty-brohilosophy I've built to protect my precious ego." Also gotta love the fact they definitely don't care about the opinions of others when their most active threads are about complaining about what other people think about them.
We just had a twerper come into r/thebluepill yesterday and say that evolution gave men (because evolution is intelligent design handing out sex-only characteristics all the time) honour, agency and empathy, and that they were male-only traits and women were selfish and unsympathetic. Because science.
When challenged to support his facts he linked me the wiki-page on testosterone. I was impressed that he managed to make himself into a better joke than a subreddit devoted to making him a joke.
Edit: forming coherent sentences is hard.
Ohhhhh that's just fantastic. Do you have a link?
Why yes, yes I do.
It's pretty hilarious, but I think my favourite it this line:
>This community is blind to scientific evidence and reason.
Sooooooooooo good.
How did I miss this exchange? This is like the most delicious candy.
Reddit in general loves calling the straw man. It's up there with bacon, Asperger's and cats.
"Refuted"
I love how all those comments dismissing the marital rape critique obviously haven't read their own intro, or posts like this one or this one. That last comment was brigaded, BTW. Saying "I don't know where people get this idea!!" is just coy and ridiculous.
>Then you have guys like me who openly don`t believe in spousal rape...
>I don`t go a night without sex unless I decide I want one. I have the respect, loyalty and admiration I want because I take what I want. Its all about knowing the difference between no and NO.

"she said yes when she said I do" Ah the nuanced opinions of a terper.
also bad /u/david-me no .np!
Btw, the "wife who finds her partner extremely unattractive" was in reference to a photo album a couple put on reddit where the two were using various sex toys on each other. The dude had a large penis sheath on at one point, which this TRPer took to mean his wife found him sexually unattractive because he wasn't using his own naked doodle the whole time.
Also in said photo album is a picture of the guy double fisting his wife. I don't know in what world you have to be in to think that woman was unattracted to her husband, but it must be a very dark place.
Holy fucking shit that is terrifying. Surely he's full of shit. Yes please can he be full of shit.
WTF

This is a pretty damning post regarding TRP and rape (only focusses on endorsed posters)
Take note of how much the guy says "I believe". Any evidence for those beliefs?
I really wish I could track these people down in 15 years, have them retread their comments and ask them what they think of them now that they've had time to grow and learn a bit about the world and about themselves.
I have a feeling it would be a hoot and a half.
What's the point of it being on TRP, confirmation bias much?
Outrage! Scream! SHITLORD DOWNAFOASDKJFASOIDFUAWLNDG!!!!111!!
I get theredpill to an extent, but I don't get the evolution stuff. I mean, they boil gender roles down to biological evolution, which seems weird to me because they want to have sex but don't want to have kids.
