I'm fairly sure evoandproud is a white supremacist blog site hiding under the veneer of scientific legitimacy. The second source is entitled "Black people are more criminal than white people" which is totally a white supremacist argument. Come back with some non-racist sources.
Estimates I've seen on the Barbary Pirates Slave operation is around 1 million over three centuries. The West African Slave trade is around 12 million, that's not taking into account that the US South was essentially self sufficient in slaves once the British banned slavery and policed the international slave trade.
The article linked also paints all African slaves as "prisoners" who already had lost their freedoms. This is simply untrue, and any honest academic would have admitted that many of the slaves were only POWs in the sense that they were captured in slave raids.

Honestly, I've tried being patient and serious with them, and I still do occasionally. But holy fucking shit are they depressing, so I find it easier to laugh and move on.
Is it the right way to deal with them? Probably not, but I'm sick of trying to make a difference over the internet.
I completely understand and I agree - talkin to ancaps and libertarians is quickly exhausting, especially when they're racist - which seems to be a much larger proportion than the population at large... But you two literally started jerkin' over white privilege/ancaps/lolbertarians/sexism/whatever... without it even being present in the thread yet.

So let me get this straight. White people have had it perfectly through out history. They have had no problems what so ever. But if they do complain they are racists/rapists?
I'm not saying that it's always been peachy for white people, but throughout history they've had it better, and certainly today we have it pretty fucking great.

Let's look back more! maybe the 6 family members who died during the wars, 2 where lucky enough to get captured and live in Siberia for years, one never returned. Oh, maybe I must look back more, about 150 years ago my family came here from Poland as miners (cough forced labor cough).
The most successful white CIS straight men in my family where my grandpa and an uncle. Both started out as simple miners and worked in shitty conditions for years before advancing to engineer status. One had 30 people the other 150 under his command. One died with the vodka bottle in his hand because after an accident he almost lost his leg and the other can't walk 10 minutes without severe back pain. Oh, at least they had money...More than the average worker of course but much less than any engineer in the west, as Americans they would have been rich.
Tell me, where was the invisible privilege? Where was the great advantage of being white? Frankly, just the notion of white privilege is disgusting to me.
If you want to talk about this than talk about rich western country privilege, it has nothing to do with the color of the skin. Or maybe when you say white you mean only Americans...Any way, I too find the lack of empathy of "redditors" disgusting, saying that somehow I have it better because the color of my skin is an insult and it's like taking a shit on millions of "whites" who lived and still live in poverty. I would trade with a Mexican or black guy any day to be able to live in the most prosperous country in the world.
